I own a Suzuki Cultus Euro-ll 2012. I wanted to ask some questions.

Which engine oil is best for Suzuki Cultus? (The car is totally driven on petrol)

    When to change gear oil?

    When to change brake oil?

Which radiator coolant to use? ( I accidentally poured plain water LOL )

When to get the brake shoes serviced or change the brake shoes?

Steering wheel is hard is there any steering oil fluid?

Note: The car has is about to clock 25000 km (24837 km on odo) previous oil change was done at (20500 km)

caltex coolant, caltex havoline, 10w40 for newish cars and 20W50 for high mileage cultus.

zic gear oil is good and guard brake oil is good (buy from a reputed shop).

for change intervals refer to your owners manual

Caltex coolant is good. But if you want to keep the costs to minimal then suzuki recommends Nasa coolant. It is also pretty good.
Generally is is said to change engine oil after every 5000km. But with newer synthetic oils, one can extend this duration up to 10000km.

cultus steering is hard because it isn't power steering, atleast you don't have to worry about power steering fluid. you can get eps installed from bilal gunj, but first you should visit some suspension wala to remove any faults, maybe it will get good enough

Hey guys I have owned a 2014 cultus euro 2. current mileage is 4350km running on petrol. From the outset a strange noise coming from it engine. I contacted Suzuki and thy said tht it is because of timing belt and it came with built in fault. The noise is strange and upsetting they said that every new cultus has this problem and it does not affect performance. my car is gving 18-19km per litre. expert opinion is required.

Guys i had changed my cars gasket few days ago but the problem i am facing is the thread for the head bolts on the engine block is messed up a little BTW its a common problem for any aluminum block engine and now bolts cannot be tightened properly resulting in poor starting and decreasing water level in radiator and overheating please suggest me some remedy for it, my mechanic said just repair your engine block from kharadia he will make new threads by putting bushes in block i just want to ask is it a reliable solution or i have to change the whole block for it?

    Thumbs down

you being member since before me you gained / learned what ?? with regret i 'd say NOTHING.

over all these years from this very forum & reading specially the Xulifiqar's postings I have learned that when there is a head job the HEAD BOLTS shall be changed for perfect head block mating with exact torque, over the time I have made my regular workshop guy(s) understand that too, now they practice head bolt change every time they remove a head from an engine. Though it is not very easy to find OEM head bolts for even locally assembled cars but they do all sort of sourcing from Thailand & gulf states to ensure painless near perfect work on an engine.
