    Hi,

Just wanted to know if their is any 1600 CC or 1300 cc engine that would fit easily into a cultus without modifications.

the swift sedan came with both 1.3L & 1.6L engines. the cultus is nothing more than a (old) swift hatchback so those engines shold fit right in, not too sure about the gearboxes though you might try to get the gearboxes with the engines.

    Thank God an interesting topic....

The G13B from an old Suzuki Cultus or Swift GTi might fit...I Know it fits completely on the same mounts in a Swift but not confirmed abt Cultus.

Because of the rarity of the G13B Engine in Pakistan, I would recommend you to go for a G13BB Engine from a Baleno or a G16B from a Baleno 1.6GTi.

If you go for the G13BB Engine, you will not have to alter the engine mounts and basic stuff in the engine. The stock suspension is strong enuf to hold the engine as the weight difference is very small...

    THe History of G13BB:

The DOHC G13BB has electronic MPFI fuel injection, generating 56–59 kW (75–79 hp) at 6,000 rpm and 104–115 N·m (77–85 ft·lbf) at 4,500 rpm, and was used in Suzuki Baleno from 1995 to 2000 and Suzuki Jimny from 1999 to 2004.

This will give you a very small and fast Cultus with high torque at low ends. CHeerz!

A G16B From a Baleno 1.6Gti would surely fit easily in a margalla and the car would be too powerful and fun to drive.

    A g16b Might cost like 40k -60k complete wid ECU + Gearbox + Fitting.

If you buy an imported cultus with 1300cc engine you wont have to change anything. But too expensive for my money as a 97 cultus from japan will cost 5 lacs

Yes ... a Cultus can be fitted with a 1300cc or 1600cc engine.

Take it from the Baleno ... either the 1300 or 1600.

    Easy swap ... fits.

Im going for the same thing next year Inshallah ... 1992 Suzuki Cultus/Swift with a sweet G16B. Hot hatch ... what you guys think ... nice idea ?

G13BB and G16B are safe in the market for another 10-15 years but the G13B from the GTi is vanishing off fast.....
