Default Comparision Between a Carby Cultus & Efi Cultus

    Assalam O Alaikum!
Owning both Suzuki Cultus Carburetor & Efi models, I decided to share my experience on Pakwheels.

    Basic Information:

Suzuki Cultus as we know today is the 1992 model of Suzuki Swift Introduced in Pakistan sometime after 2000. It was basically introduced with a 3- Cylinder G10a Engine also familiar in Suzuki Khyber. It took some years for the taste to develop and by 2005 a vast number of Units were sold. In 2007, Paksuzuki introduced an Electronically Fuel Injected version of 4-Cylinder 16 valve G10b Engine. Having gained popularity, Suzuki Cultus gained the greatest market share in most sold Hatchback after Suzuki Mehran.

    Reasons For Success:

1.Large Leg room: Suzuki Cultus has the most leg room in the 1000cc Category.
2.Easy & Cheap Maintenance: Suzuki Cultus has the G10 Engine Which can be easily maintained.
3.Futuristic Looks: Nobody can guess the design is dated back to 1992,Cultus definitely has smart looks.
4.Highly Dependable: Owners approve whether Cultus Never let them Down
5.Good Performance: Power:Weight ratio of Suzuki Cultus is very good & Helps in Smooth Acc. & cornering.
6.Resale Value: Suzuki Cultus is a Hand-on sale with minimum or no loss at all, and is sold easily.

    My Experience:
The most Ghareeb Nawaz car of Pakistan, parts are so cheap, and the performance in return it gives is amazing. It will never let you down even in harsh rainfalls or Desertic Heat. It wont even complain. The engine is quiet and Efficient. As you Use the car, You will hear the Engine wail in protest but will never stop.

    Comparision:
Now for the comparision, the next few posts will compare the Efi & Carburetor Model of Suzuki Cultus!

It requires a serious amount of non-exposure to cars.. for someone to write such a beloved long review about a car like cultus!

In my humble opinion, its a crap on wheels... its obsolete, has extremely poor chassis, comes from a time when side crash tests were not included under any regulations and the car is extremely poor in terms of front and side collision.

Sitting position is awkward and very low, an uncomfortable car to sit and and get out from! Specially for old and elderly!

New cultus has very poor quality with all sorts of poor quality control issues, alignment is all out, brand new car does bubbling, headlights aim is always out, car is expensive as hell! And does not even has power package, only VXL version had it and that was the only considerable option in cultus ever!

Alto's chassis is way better than cultus in terms of construction and safety!
Hats off to people who pay over a million rupees to buy this piece of absolute s h i t! Wagon R is also a MUCH better car in the range.. but our awam loves to get mugged by these companies!

In 1 Million range, JDM cars > Wagon R > Cultus - Last option!

G-Series engine ruled for 80s-90s. Suzuki then introduced M-Series engine. As for Vitz, its 1.0 & 1.3 engine both are as new as 1999. So you can easily compare the Specs.

This is the Vitz I am Talking about:

Only Considering 1000cc 1KR-FE engine shown below:
Comparision Between a Carby Cultus & Efi Cultus -1453569

IT has 65 Hp (10 more than Cultus Efi) and 91 Nm torque (12 more than Cultus Efi) So Even the 1.0 Base vitz is far better than New Efi Cultus. I would have proudly brought it back in 2010, but It can not be maintained be Aam Aadmi. Way too Expansive.
for your info efi cultus is 45kw @6000rpm means 60hp not 55hp

I respect the difference of your opinion, as it is true I have no exposure to cars, however I do have a passion to share my experience. The whole point of this is to give an idea to cultus owners or those who are interested, which version is better. Surely Cultus may not be able to compete with the current market, but we owners have an emotional attachment to this car.
