Thread: Is 20W50 oil is suitable for Suzuki Cultus VXRi Euro II 2014 Model?

    Default Is 20W50 oil is suitable for Suzuki Cultus VXRi Euro II 2014 Model?

    Dear Pakwheelrs, please give your input on 20W50 Grade Mobil Oil:-

    Whether it is OK for Suzuki Cultus VXRi Euro II Model 2014 in summer season?
    If not, then what are posssible risks to car's engine?

    you can but here temperature never drops below 0 degrees so it will be an overkill to use oil that is recommended for -20 degrees temperature!

    Follow the recommended manufacturer grade.20w50 is generally for old engines and your's is a sparkling new vehicle.Id kwhat is recommended viscosity for cultus.Consult the manual

    Go for 10-40w . as your car is new and 20-50w is for old engines . stick to synthetic oil .

    i used 20w50 in my carby engine indus corolla
    for efi car use caltex havoline fully synthetic 5w30 golden box
    8th Gen Mitsubishi Lancer 1.3 GLX 2006; 3rd Gen Toyota Prius 1.8 S-Touring 2010; 11th Gen Toyota Corolla 1.3 GLi AT 2014.

    close enough i use it in my lancer and got the viscosity wrong

    Hi friends, I purchased cultus 2006 which is a bit abused but engine is not reducing oil and there is no smoke. Please recommend me oil for engine.

    10w40 API SG if your absolutely sure that your car doesnt reduce/burn or leak oil
