Default Cultus 2008 Efi Starting issue.

    Dear Friends,

I have cultus 2008 Efi bought like 6 months back. I am getting a unique issue of starting. At any giving instant i am unable to start the car. When i check the current wire from coil to distributor there is no current.

I have changed and tested the coil, changed the plug and coil wires with genuine sports wire. No electrician have identified the issue till now.

The most problematic is that after number (some time 10 to 15 or more) of tries the engine starts and then every thing seems to be OK.

I also have observed that some time when i stop the car in rush its RPM rises up to 2000 or more i don't know if it is related or not. Throttel body/ T body is replaced with manual nut from my last owner.

Thanks in Advance for helping me ..

Check the coil again for current.

Its totally valve clearance issue, get adjusted your tappets from a good mechanic. Seems the tappets are too tight.

    InshAllah it will be fine

The tappets are good. i just recently have checked with mechanic. The coil is replaced with original cultus Coil and check buy a good electrician. The car works like charm once started, but when its not starting there is no current from coil some one told me there might be issue in ECU..

checked distributor and coil and found OK. there is no current output from coil when the vehicle is not starting and after several ignition there it starts like nothing have happened.

I have tried every thing. The problem is i cant demonstrate the issue inform of mechanic as when the car once start it's half self start.

one mechanic told me to get your car ECU checked as the issue might be with some censor. I am looking after any mechanic in islamabad to check ECU or censors in car.
