a/c of wagon r is pretty chill like vitz, swift, passo. much better than cultus and cultus feels more underpowered under a/c. and wagon r has newer more powerful engine.

i have a cultus since 2005.. and its AC always chilled in June / july.. always use recomended R134 cooling gas for your AC. and Tune it in every Season .. no matter if it is working fine for you.. do not use AC in full 4 point speed. use 1 or 2 point ..
slow n steady wins the race..

I have kept zero meter cultus efi and non efi used, Wagon R ac is another league, Wagon R AC is one thing that will impress you when you turn it on. obviously ac gas is very important factor but I am talking when car is new so it is out of question.

In june/july at 12 pm, i mostly drive it with blower on 2 or 1, and on summer evening i cant stand ac even at position 1 so i push thermostat to bit less cooler position, that will give you insight how good it is.

One technical reason for this is, Wagon R dashboard is well insulated, I observed AC blowing cool air with hot dashboard, but in cultus if dashboard is hot there is no way you get colder air, for cultus dashbaord should not be hot

Does an extended(larger) condenser and a separate fan gives any advantage to cultus?

I am of the opinion that a separate fan and a larger condenser will be more effective in traffic jams/ idle position.

Above comments/experiences suggest that wagon R has a better AC

I'm using wagonR and also used a new 2013 cultus back then.
wagonR ac is without a doubt way better then cultus.
its way cooler and best thing as mentioned above is instant cooling..
and its no difference on car with or without ac. there is actually no load.. too good.

Does the cooling drops when the car is idle for longer periods?

it drops for sure but not as much as some other 1000cc drops.
the cabin stays quite cool if not chilled during idle.
