    Default Heat up and Gasket Problem

    Dear PW,
    please advice, third time my car heated up and i replaced gasket. Cleaned the radiator fan is direct also

    What should be the cause?

    go for whole cooling system flush........change water pump........and the most important thing ur head must not be warped and use new TTY bolts of head and torque them to correct specs......dont buy these bolts from scrap yard......find new one......they are a bit khuwari but are worth it.....then install thermostat valve and make fan auto.....

    apni gari ki water body ko tabdeel krein.........head ko khradiya ko check krwayen k wo terha tou nae.....agr ha to wo us ko face krdy ga........aur jb b engine ka head khuly tou head k bolt change krein jo k hmary mechanic hazraat nae krty.....js se gaskit ka issue shuru o jata.....aur in bolts ko kabariye mtlb bilal gunj wgera se nae lena blky brand new istimaal krein......in sb me thori zalaalat ha mgr in the end faida o ga.......in sb aml k bad thermostat install krein aur engine ka pankha automatic krdein.......

    Ok bro.. Will replace new water body, install new bolts too. khradya wala kam b. My one friend said that may b head minor sa leak ho khein say... is it possible too? There is minor knocking type sound...very very minor when I push accelator.. camshaft ka issue ho skta hay according to my mechanic. Actualy once my car heated up and driven one whole day.. 😑

    wo head leak wala issue b khradia dekh ley ga.....and about knocking sound its ok if car is on petrol.....camshaft can be seen visually for wear.....but this is very less related tooverheating......but its common is this engine to wear camshaft if new advanced oils of api sm or sn are used due to low zddp

    dnt worry thousands of engines are built everyday......and about camshaft.....show it to khradia he will check lobe height and lobe wear and straightness of camshaft......if cam is worn then install new and use api sg,sj oils....they r cheap and beneficial to this engine.

    Is it any timing issue or tapet setting also for over heating? Sorry to bother you again buddy. Called Suzuki Parts shop, the price of water body is 1400 or should i buy locally from some reputed spare part shop? And what about head gasket? This time i wanna buy my parts myself rather than depending upon my mechanic. Thnx

    After the last repair and new gasket, my car well performed locally, i drove almost 400 km, the max drive was 100 km on AC. Heated up when i was on the way to Faisalabad, i went non stop from Islamabad to Faisalabad with very low Ac. Set it off also in salt range too.

    u can buy gmb water body from any good reputable parts store.....suzuki parts are expensive widout any reason......tappet setting can cause if headgasket is weak and head z warped or cracked.....st tappet to 0.15mm on cold engine and timing can be checked by any mechanic.......plz buy parts urself and put eye upon mechanic....these mechs r thugs.so dnt rely on them

    There is no point of getting new bolts if you don't have torque wrench and correct torque figures BTW g series have non tty bolts

    cultus ka head silver ka hota hai, heat up ho jay to face main farq aa jata hai, face baraber karwao, cylinder/piston ki position check karowao, miner sa b farq hua to crank ka kam b karwana pary ga karwana par gya to try karna crank 75 par set ho jay warna 100 par hi. or gasket double wala nai dalna genuine dalna, phr b mac double recommend kary to genuine 2 dal dana.
