    Default My cultus 2011.

I bought cultus 2011 in mettalic clr, lhr reg, company fitted cng abt 3 months ago. Its mileage is 96k. Its working perfect with ac. I used havolin formula oil, now it has done 4300 mileage. Should i change oil now? Or after 5000km. And also recommend which oil should i use. My use is maximum 50km daily open road.

bro he is using recommended grade oil which in listed in user manual... i am also using Caltex formula in my cultus from last 9 years and my engine runs asome...
here is some difference in 10w-30 and 10w-40
10w-30 resist upto 30 degC of atmosphere
10w-40 resist upto 40 degC of atmosphere
if you are living in hot environment cities like south punjab and sindh then go to 10w-40
otherwise 10w-30 is good like rawalpindi and islamabad environment
another thing is here the thickness of oil 10w-30 is thinner then 10w-40 ... and less force required to drive engine in case of 10w-30, better fuel efficiency, less wear and tear of engine....

Viscosity is one thing and API grade like SG, SJ, SN, SM etc is another.
By the way, temperature of twin cities exceed 40 degree centigrade in summer, so even by your formula mentioned above, 10-40 suits more.
I would recommend the OP to go for SGO Premium (10w40 API SG)
The interval recommended by Suzuki is 5000 Kms although I change it at 3500 Kms because in summer my car idles with A/C ON. And in such case Kms are not increasing on the odometer but engine is still working.

SGO is beykaar engine oil and think ZIC, caltex, kixxx, or total is far better than SGO
and why 20w-50 you aren't using???

api sm is the correct grade of engine oil for 2011 cultus. I have been using suzuki sgo ultimate genuine oil in my efi cultus. drives smooth its a satisfying oil. If you want a really better oil try shell ultra 5w-40 summer grade is same as 10w-40 but with a better cold start ability . its a bit costly for 4litre pack but u can increase ur drain interval as your daily running is 50kms .
