Default Cultus Patrol engine on A/c

My cultus (Patrol) is not performing good with A/c as the engine takes too much load with too much viberation.

I assume its compressor that needs bearing replace. Plz give comments.

    which ac do u got
    Sanden or Denso?

Indications: Senden A/C Switch as Green Light
Indications: Denso A/C Switch as Orange/ yellow Light

assuming that if u have denso... then dude u r in big trouble...
people who use Highbeams.. once day would suffer too bigtime. People who drive slow on fast lanes, remember one day a vehicle carryin ur son, dad might get late to hospital coz people like u. underaged driving will land u in bigtime trouble one day or the other.. And the Blue indication light on ur speedometer denotes "High Beams"

I have a Cultus VXL running on petrol with FF A/C. it performs very Good, but there is surely a difference in Car's performance and fuel consumption.. after all its just a 1.0ltr carby engine from Suzukiā€¦

Just got it serviced before this summer. i.e. in March.2007. But don't know why the engine goes down whenever A/c gets ON after automatic during running.

Another problem...If A/c is running with full blower. The engine goes totally OFF in the mid of the road during running. But if the A/c is running with blower on 1st step out of 03. Then the car keeps going ok....Plz advise

I think the automatic throttle advancer is not working when you turn on the compressor. have it checked

I happened to me also.. just look for yourself under the Air filter. you will see the advancer with a small metal stick attaching to where the gas pedal cable is attached in the carb (from where the mechanics usually increases the RPM manually when checking the car) .. it sometimes gets detached from the lever.. attach it back if this is the case...

Also you will find some black pipes going here and there... see if one of those are off.. attach them also...

This usually happens when the car is serviced...

I hope you would solve the problem by yourself if any one of the above is the case...

may be you have air in your system. This cause inefficient cooling and heavy load on compressor as air requires more effort to compress than freon.
