    Default Cultus 5th gear problem on CNG

    AOA

    I have a problem with my cultus vxr while running it on Cng in 5th gear it runs fine uptill 4th gear it easily go to 110-120 in 4th gear but when i put it into 5th gear it speed gets down and comes to 100 and remains there. Its just 4 month old and 15K KM done. Have anybody faced such kind of problem and need expert advice. I change its engine oil after 3K-3.5k KM and use Shell Cng. Please guide me so that if there is anything wrong with engine i can claim warranty as it is still in warranty. Also it runs fine on petrol and pick on cng is also fine.     well i had also the same prob with my cultus vxl 07 , i took it to the suzuki workshop , they changed air filter and chacked its cng setting...now there is no prob..i took my car upto 130 on 5th gear easily..

    Set ur ignition timing on full advance. There is a philip screw in ur TAP turn it to max. Also keep ur engine speed within the power band which is bewteen 4000 rpm - 5200 rpm. Cng mein heat or energy kafi thori produce hoti ha is liay always stay in the power band regardless of gears.

    Or han wo Mini Motors mein mechanic ha Muzamil uss say tune karwa lo.

    im using cultus engine

    and it is a valid problem in cultus....

    it is due to lack of hp...

    dont panic and khurcha na kro kuch ni ho ga..
    i have spend 10000 rupees n kuch ni hwa,,

    its prob in all altos and cultus dnt worry abt it.........drive in 4 gear 4 rpm not harmful to car

    I Had the same problem with my car too
    1)Switch from shell oil to Havoline
    2)Change from Genuine Plugs too (bosch plugs 4 pin)
    3)Get your car tuned from a professional.

    I was facing the same problem and couldnt find any solution since last week......then 1 of gr8 mech told me that its a prob with my timing belt ,there a pin was broken and timing was out by gr8 margin which was seems 2 b ok by timing gun, after this repair now Alhamdullah it is runing v well.

    car come back in 4th gear when he shifts into 5th gear
    then we sell it :p

    HAHAHAHA, Kashif yaar here is the BEST solution for your cultus as written above by "BMW7Series".

    I have used cultus for 3 years on CNG (from 2001 to 2004), this issue is solve able but just need a good mechanic, its not true that it is not solve able, ppl also give us reason that all Suzuki cars have same prob so don't try to solve it, no man you should try to get rid off it and i hope you will.

    borthers this problem was solved when i got my car tuned and now it reaches 130. And this problem was Posted on October 1, 2007 at 123:19 PM so its almost a year now.
