    Default Cultus VXRi CNG Problem

    All,

Guys i am having a strange and disturbing problem with my cultus efi on CNG.

the car engine shuts-off when i presses the clutch to stop on signal or lower the speed. As i press the clutch the RPM falls and just keep falling and the engine goes off.

i have consulted the car with local Suzuki mechanics they have tried to adjust the Gas setting but of no avail.

my persoal opinion is that the problem is with lamda (oxygen sensor) its either weak or out of order.

A normal observation on cultus efi is that when you press the cluth the RPM drops and goes around 6,7000 and then goesup and adjust itself to around 8000/9000. but here the problem is that when it falls it never stops...

Please note that the car runs fine on patrol.

any urgent help and comments are highly appreciated.

    manay thanks in advance.

    @itsgumbys
i think you have to check your car to some good mechanic. as i also own vxri, i does'nt have any problem like u described. rpm drops down when its in neutral but not less that 5,600rpms then again it goes upto 800 mark on cng. or let them adjust the rmp setting

I wonder why you guys feel shy to take your Brand New vehicles to the related authorized dealers?Seriously it looks pretty lame to me when some one takes their Brand new vehicle to a road side mechanic

Take it to the authorized dealer and tell them to fix it for you and i am sure since its new EFI cultus its warranty is still Valid,Hence dont be shy to claim your right.

P.S Trust me they Dont Bite you

Well In that case you better Call Pak suzuli Customer Support and they will take the matter in their own hands !Even if a change in CNG kit is required they are liable to do it and if you plead your case wisely it will be done promptly.

hats how i have claimed few warranties from them though..!

Oh well its a policy to all the automobile manufacturers any changes done after the sales the warranty voids you will know it by reading the warranty book carefully,However i will still advise you to try the customer support ...I had to claim all four whell bearings as they started making noise well b4 20,000km at that time i had changed the rims and tyres Dealer told me to simply get rid of them when Pak Suzuki ppl come for the survey, luckily i have 2 Lianas one with stock rims and tyres, thus i switched those and got claim setteled in no time..

its a simple issue. there is just one pipe that is not suppose to touch somewhere.
you just have to change its position and ur car wont switch off at idle.

Dont worry brother its not a big problem"

Actually i think ur EFI system has been manually manipulated by some mechanic in the name of increasing fuel economy.

I had the same issue with my Honda Exi. Go to a good Suzuki dealer and have ur car chked with computer for recommended settings. Plus get the the fuel body cleaned.

u can call me for any other help 0300-4222387
as i know ur problem is damn irritating
