    Default Cultus VXRi CNG Problem

    All,

    Guys i am having a strange and disturbing problem with my cultus efi on CNG.

    the car engine shuts-off when i presses the clutch to stop on signal or lower the speed. As i press the clutch the RPM falls and just keep falling and the engine goes off.

    i have consulted the car with local Suzuki mechanics they have tried to adjust the Gas setting but of no avail.

    my persoal opinion is that the problem is with lamda (oxygen sensor) its either weak or out of order.

    A normal observation on cultus efi is that when you press the cluth the RPM drops and goes around 6,7000 and then goesup and adjust itself to around 8000/9000. but here the problem is that when it falls it never stops...

    Please note that the car runs fine on patrol.

    any urgent help and comments are highly appreciated.

    I was going to buy a new vxr i but now i am confused. Please help people if I should go on with the buy.

    Dear users,

    That problem did come in the beggning due to disturbed settings of plugs tappet and gas. As its advanced Cng system so it is delicate and sensitive.

    We have rectified the problem in most of the cultuses. If anyone of you from lahore have this problem is most welcome to visit us.

    Please do not install tracker in your cng cultus.

    wat is the concern of tracker with this issue ?

    got 3 complaints in cultuses with tracker that it damaged the ECU because of improper wiring.

    does that mean the vxri that i just got which is fitted with tracker, am gona face the same issue ?

    Assalam o Alaikum bro...
    this is just cng settings prob, please change plugs, and have checkd ur car for oil in cng kit and cylender.
    i had the same problem in my car,,, mostly when i was going in 5th gear and had to lower the gear the car had to either turned off or have to give some race to keep it on...
    but after the cleaning of kit, changng plugs and having got tuned for cng the car is going fine now...

    you dont need to change anything or clean. you just need fine tuning with computer.
    this is what we do and the car is perfecto!!!

    do u mean the lambda settings are adjusted with a hand held device?

    forget lambda. just require a proper tapper adjustment and plug gap setttings . then cng setting is required with the help of computer.

    this is only done at Suzuki 3S authorized dealers. not anywhere else.

    as i am 3S dealer of Suzuki we do it routine basis.

    well i took my car to the authorized suzuki dealer who fixed the problem only to cause another...the "CHECK ENGINE" light switches on at times (not always) and the rpm doesnt remain stable at times. I dont know if its related but my engine also makes a rattling sound while idling. The dealer says its perfectly normal...i am not convinced though...any suggestions????

    bro, that computer thingy and tappet cleaning is all crap... my cng system was fine until i went for a 1000km service.. abhee wesay 700km bhee nahee huway but uski last date thee..

    they fd up the whole cng mechanism... 4 din meh musalsal khuwar hota raha hoon suzuki township motor (jahan say lee thee), rozana 2 say 3 ghantay chek kertay.. theek ho jatee (wo bhee isleay koz garee garam ho ker theek chalnay lagtee) pher ghar ja ker kharee kero.. and then the same thing...

    Clutch dabao, dasti rpm down to 100 or Zero, and gari band... abhee last jo meh gya hoon persoon, they did something to it... he tried to connect the laptop but usko ECU ka error a raha thaa and it looks as its ECU is fd up... khyr i dono what they did, rpm ka masla theek ho gyaa garee band nahee hotee....

    but ab aur mazay ki cheezein shuru ho gyee hein.. Garee band hotee hay still jab thandi hi ya kabhee awein shughal meh... CNG per convert honay k baad, the light is still blinking (cng ki).. and miles n miles you cover, wo blink kertee rehtee hay...

    Kharee garee per rpm uper neechay hota rehta hay (on cng)... race do gare ko for like 3000 rpm, rpm 2000 ya 1500 per ja ker ruk jayega and CHECK ENGINE ki light on ho jayege...

    aaj customer service waloon ka phone aya and i told em that am not satisfied with the service... khyr... let metry to upload the video that i made k wat exactly is happening in my next post...

    hussam,

    this sure is the sign of machinics fucki... with the CNG settings.

    the CNG adjustment nut on regulator needs to be readjusted.

    i have same car and had the same issue as u posted on you tube.

    though i also had a genuine prob of rpm dropdown. i am still looking for some solid solution.

    any one any where have any solution you are welcome to share.

    have solved a few of these problems..
    just let me know that you dont have tracker installed in your car...otherwise cant help you.

    i dont understand the traker theory... my car has a tracker, and i guess now your saying it cannot be fixed?

    then what about the trakkers that YOU people install in the bank leased cars? are you telling them not to bring the cars back to us because you cannot fix them?

    i talked to one cng person and he said that dont buy these company airfilter and instead of them buy GUARD airfilter
