Thread: 1300cc engine in Cultus

    Default 1300cc engine in Cultus

    I am a 2004 cultus CNG user and sick of the problems the engine is giving me. I have got the engine overhauled and now I have multiple problems.
    The worst thing is the engine being extremely underpowered.
    I am planing to repalce the engine with a 1300 cc Marghala Unit.
    Is this conversion easy and how to go bout it.
    Or should I go for it at all?

    yaar just take it to suzuki showroom .. why change engine .. u can get it fixed less ammount and less tension...

    yaar all depends upon how u maintain.. why all of us blame pak suzuki for evrythng.. my frnd own a suzuki mehran 1994 with sealed engine.. bhai gaari hay khoota nahi sahi maintain karogay to aisa nahi ho sakta..

    check with palay. he can find some good engines for you in peshawar (shoba)

    Get Either G13BB From Baleno Efi Of G13B SOHC From Margalla....!!

    If You Go For Margalla One...Its Easy To Get It Fixed...For Baleno One...You Need To Do All Efi Wiring And So...!!

    Other Than That......If You Need Some Engine Outta Suzuki Range...Then 4EFE Is Best You Can Get........(1.3L Efi From JDM Corolla)

    As i was also a proud owner of GTi and was really happy with its output i would like u to go for that 1.3Epi 16valve a powerful machine well the porblem u will be facing is the wiring problem other than that nothing els.

    margalla engine internals is weak as compare with japan cultus model 1998 buy a japan cultus engine G13B SOHC same came in margalla but its way better then margalla engine if ur willing for CNG baleno G13B SOCH EFI is not good for CNG point of view .

    Yes Maintanace does matter.
    And trust me I am good at maintaing cars.

    I bought this car brand new and straight away the valve failed. so I got the header done under warranty but the problem did not go away. And the engine prgressivly weakend.
    After the overhaul I have got the head done three times; no I am not joking. Once because of my fault, as the water pipe which goes to the CNG kit blew up casing the engine to overheat. Over and above that I have got fuel(Petrol) pump failure three times. Now I am running without one. i.e only on CNG. Yaar I am sick of this car but problem is I cant change it right now.

    I dont want a 1.0 engine just because it is low on power and I will run it on CNG. So that will make things worse.

    Remeber Guyz CNG is also an issue. I need an engine which can take the CNG abuse.

    @Hsumbal,
    I am having the same issues with my Cultus 2001 its not running on CNG at all giving me max 110 to 115 km/h on cng without AC....I m really sick of it if u *** up with any solution then do tell me...some ppl also suggested me to put a 1.3 japani cultus in engine in my car...i heard japani cultus block can be fitted easily in our cars without any major modification...
