    aa:

well if it's a 3-cylinder version then the roaring sound comes from the exhaust manifold. there is a design problem with this exhaust manifold which emits noise on acceleration.
ofcourse the noise is very unpleasant, especially driving at nights in quiet streets.

Get Dynamat sound proofing sheets. You will probably need to stick it to the firewall and underside of the hood.

Dynamat is definitely the solution to this problem. The noise level in the cabin will go down significantly and what's more, the acoustics of your sound system will also improve.

You cannot reduce that sound of cultus its a manufacturing fault in it and dont put those sheets in the hud which normally disel engines have b/c you are running your ride on CNG and on CNG engine's operating temprature increases as compared to petrol so putting that sheet on will eventualy increase the temprature also. Just try mixing STP oil can with every oil change with the oil you use i have been doing it for so long in my vehicles and i change the oil at 5000Kms its giving me good results.

These all might be alternative solutions but if you want a permanent solution which offers a lot of quality also, then you need to put in a sheet of Dynamat Extreme on the dividing shield that separates the engine from the cabin. For the hood, you can put in the Dynamat hoodliner which not only dampens the noise, but it reduces the heat also.
