    Default Cultus (2005) dashbord in Khyber???

    My friend wants to fit Suzuki Cultus' dash board & engine in his Suzuki Khyber (Khyber is actually OLD Cultus).
    I think engine is OK, but dash board won't fit it well or it won't look nice as it's somewhat bigger.

    Please suggest, is it better to replace or keep it stok?

    Thanks in ADVANCE!

    I wouldn't suggest that buddy, reason being, cultus dashboard squeels and rattles as it is after a couple of years, I don't know why you would want additional noises inside the compartment.

    Regarding the engine, I have kept and driven both cars, performance wise it is hardly noticeable if Cultus engine performs better than khyber's (specially the non EFI 2005 model). It would be pointless to change engine mountings and install a cultus engine. The effort is not worth it.

    Get the khyber overhauled friend, the money you dish out in the conversion will be put to better use this way.

    Just my two cents worth.. hope it helps

    @rozzzz
    That's what I think so, but now he (my friend) also has dropped this idea. He has bought a KABLI dashboard of Hongkong's Cultus 1990 from Cha Sultan. It looks nice(Y) and fit in the car 100% excactly!
    Aur bhai sahib app ki Car ka kia haal hai?
    Please give me the address from where you modified your interior!

    @weshee
    Dear!
    We both (he and me) think New Cultus performs better then Old one (Khyber). Espacially when AC on in 40C heat!

    @princesultan

    Rightly said friend, cultus ac is definately better than khyber, but if that is the only thing that matters, why not try to get the ac replaced? get a cultus ac unit and fix it in the khyber.

    Good luck with the mods!
