Thread: Mystry Unsolved - Cultus VXRi

    Default Mystry Unsolved - Cultus VXRi

    I think there is no solution for the following problems occure in cultus vxri
    1. CNG light blinking problems
    2. RPM drops down resuults in shutdown the engin while car in running position
    second problem occur usually when u apply breaks and press the clutch to slow down. it happens very rare but happen.
    I have check it from suzuki several times, but no gain. even their suzuki karachi engineers check my car but unable to find the exact cause and solution to it.
    if anyone have any idea or solution, kindly share it here for other's help.

    thanx a lot shihid aka itsgumbys for ur comments.
    infact i did'nt found any thread with this problem from any vxri owner, so i thought may be there is some proper solution to it so putup this query to have solution.
    i was supposed to call federal motor in a while, thanx for ur comments that they are also unable to solve it rather want you to change cng station.

    sorry for reposting my reply again. but i wish to post it here too..

    Brother you have made a mistake by buying a suzuki efi with company fitted CNG.











    it has many problem in it.











    and the dilemma is that you can not get fixed the problem any where else but only of suzuki workshops......... where they have the laptop to be attached with the car.











    the laptop contains software from landiranzo which is used to fix problems in suzuki.











    but another dilemma is .........that it doest not always fix the problem











    i have the suzuki cultus with efi and company fitted ac cng.











    i have faced 2 major problems in the car











    1) car turns of on CNG when you press clutch.





    this is called advancer problem. go to a good cng workshop of suzuki where they have a laptop and proper trained person. they will solve the issue.











    2) car turn of when converts on cng.





    it can be due to weak relay . they add cutout with the kit and it works.











    my car got the two problems. i tried to fixed them. they were fixed but occured again.











    the petrol expense of this car is also too much. every time car is started on patrol whether the engine is hot or not. every time it is started on petrol and takes 1.5 minutes to convert. specially if you are having any one of the above problems....your petrol tanky will be finished very soon. as the car will be started again and again.























    so after having an experience of more then a year i converted my car cng into manual system.





    got an efi swith of landiranzo=1300 rupees





    wiring=200 rupess





    electric mechanic=300 rupees





    power t=200 rupees





    and now my cultus is manual for CNG.





    and i can fix it from any cng workshop or mechanic.





    the mechanic should be experienced in converting the cultus system into manual system. if you will ask the suzuki workshop workers to do the same , they will no do it. (kiun k if they changed into manual , you will not go to them again and again , and they will not able to charge you again and again.)

















    i suggest you the same soloution. suzuki company is fitting quality compromised material. and soon you will be tired of fixing the car again and again due to cng probelm.

    I've the same problem in my Cultus VXRi 2007 model. Does anybody knows which is the best Suzuki Auto workshop in Lahore for resolving this issue.

    Suzuki mini motors claims that they can solve this shutdown issue.
    I am going to buy VXLi 2008 model in next week.I called at a very popular CNG workshop Bismillah CNG at Faisalabad and the guy told me that CNG can be install in VXLi but with or without lamda device and they have also equipped with its software.Its up to customer if he want to install this lamda with extra 9000.Pak Suzuki is installing this by default in every CNG Cultus.So i decieded not to go with this Lamda device installation as after its installation CNG can only be tuned by by software.
    Hope so that i will not face any problem after installing market CNG in VXLi.

    i also noticed same problem in my Cultus VXRi, but with no problem they got solved. this is not a big issue..

    1. As per mechanic in suzuki service center(Al-khair Autos), it occurs due to many conditions i.e dusty air filter,loose wires and due to dust on sensors installed under hood.
    he removed blinking error manually but said it can be removed through laptop also.

    2. It requires a simple tunning, involving tappet settings, spark plug cleaning and finally laptop tuning.

    still having issues.. contact me i can get further information from mechanic on your specific problem..

    I am facing the same cng issue
    1. light blinking
    2. shut down when press brake and clutch

    I have wasted a lot of time and money by:
    Fixing from suzuki motor _ software fixing
    Service of CNG kit and throatel body
    manual adjustment

    My mechanic says it is due to malfunctioning of the cutout/advancer/device (whatever you say) installed under hood at back of the throatal body in which cables are switched in. I am still looking for this part.
    What you suggest is it this reason?

    what are you guys talking about - any good CNG place can fine tune the thing, I have a freind in Karachi who runs a large CNG business him and I fiddled a lot with the lambda based kits his shop was installing in cars - the fiddling was done with the application LR Pakistan provided. Everything was kept under strict monitoring while installation - e.g. we were told that the low pressure feed pipe must not exceed 15 inches - and must have no sharp bends - the kit must be kept hot too otherwise it will freeze when the stepper motor opens up allowing high flow of gas (I have seen a lot of frozen gas regulators, lambda or not after doing highway runs)

    hi fellows,

    Am also suffering from same issue with CNG and now tired of visiting suzuki federal motors again and again.
    They have advised me to change the "linear actuator" or lambda device (by landiranzo) with the manual T which is a simple nut/screw and can be adjusted with screw driver.

    I would be thankful if someone can comment about the possible benifits / problems after this change.

    Default Engine Shutdown.....Got a SOLUTION

    hi and salaam to everyone!

    my relative was having a same problem (Engine shutdown).
    he REPLACE THE STEPPER MOTOR it COSTS only Rs 1850/-
    of a good Quality at suzuki authorized dealer...replace that
    and you'll be in lot of ease....
