Get original ones from bilal gunj for RS-500 for all four.
Never go for any fancy looking coloured ones, they're just as good as hooker's smile.

for some reason my cars original wire's insulation got scraped exposing the metal core. they were replaced with new ones which were the best i could find in that area. the car didnt quite feel right, kept it like that for six months then fixed the insulation on original wires with a thick layer of insulation tape and installed them back. then the acceleration improved so i dont think new wires will result in any performance gain, but there is a catch, the thicker the wire the lesser the resistance and the longer the wire the higher the resistance. so maybe a little gain can be expected if you upgrade to wires with a greater thickness.( it can only be expected when the new wire is as pure as the original one and even then the change is very small)

Default Ultima is better than stock/OEM plug wires (for cng atleast)

I have very good experience with Ultima replaced in Daihatsu Cuore, two suzuki khybers (in one i used the 3core plug wires of Ultima, which are discontinued now), suzuki FX, and Suzuki Esteem...........out of which one khyber and esteem belonged to me, others belong to my relatives.

^^ you just experienced regained performance, a set of new OEM wires would have showed the same results.

The stock ones are sumitomo as I can read printed on the wires. And dealership sell them at exhorbitant prices. So i search for a value for money alternative.Getting back to original problem , I hear "Phuk phuk" sound from exhaust alongwith misfiring. And the exhaust spits water all the time....

water is condensation of the exhaust gases and also accumulated humidity after being parked. It should end when the engine warms up to normal temperature. If its not then your engine is running cold.

For misfiring - check the valve clearances and distributor cap and rotor for buildup, do not rub the centre contact point of the rotor or you will lose current transfer capability from the cap to rotor.

Finally managed to check resistance. The HT wire from ignition coil to distributor is showing around 150K Ohm resistance which seems very high. I think this is the main problem causing rough idling and misfire.
other three wires from distributor to spark plugs show resistance in the range 7.5 K Ohm to 9K Ohm which seems within range.

    Replacement options are:

    - OEM 4-wire set from dealership approx 4000+ Rupees
    - Ultima (orange coloured) set available at most spare parts stores from 400-to-700 Rupees
    - Search from Bilal Gunj for second hand original ones @uiv mentioned above at 500 Rupees.

I only need one HT wire so what do you guys suggest would be best option here?
