Default brakes being hard of cuore when engine is off

few days ago I went to murree. on road going down to GPO traffic was moving very very slow. I turned off engine of my cuore 2005 and used brake to go down when traffic moved after few minutes. I noticed that brakes became very hard but were working. but when I started engine, even in neutral brakes became light again. I noticed that when engine is off after applying brakes few times they become hard. is this normal or it is a problem? and if it is a problem where it is?

      Default info about cuore

      HI,

I have recently purchased a cuore 2002 ,it hit from bottom on some speed barkers if only two person are sitting on the back ,not to all but if they are bit high .One of my friend told me that it is due to CNG cylinder installed on the back .Please tell me that if it is normal or if not then what i have to get change(the springs or the shocks) in order to solve this problem.
      regards

That is normal. Bcoz brake booster installed in your car needs vacuum to work and if engine is not running there is no vacuum for booster.
Speed costs money, how fast can you afford to go.

thanks for reply with its underlying cause. As for cuore hitting speed breakers, mine one has high profile tyres. i.e 165 70 R12 instead of 145 70 R12 that are stock on 12" alloys. its body never hit even with 5 people on it. it also has after market CNG. and I have had no problems in suspension. I drive it with care and never cross 100. also you can carefully cross speedbreakers at an angle rather than straight. it will help. get spacers installed too. high profile tyres will help for sure.
