    Default Cuore ignition switch heating

Hi guys. i have a cuore and its ignition switch was heating up very much. the key got hot too. the car also shut down a few times, i mean the current to engine was lost a few time. ignition switch wali wire ko chernay per current dobara on jata tha aur car chal parti thi. AC chalanay aur fan ko full karnay per ziada jaldi heat hoti thi taar. Electrician serviced the ignition switch and added relay to radiator fan. now the car is running fine alhamdulilah. the concern is: ignition switch ko janay wali wires (there are many, wrapped in nitto tape) kafi garam ho jati hain. koi problem nahin kar rahi car laikin aisa kyun ho raha hay? why are the wires getting so hot? any solution?

You may have put extra load on your electrical wiring like heavy sound system , bigger radiator fan of AC condenser fan, More powerful headlight lamps ect.Drive all extra load items on relays. If not solved replace ignition switch with new.

No extra load except higher watts of headlights... 90/100 I think... any idea of ignition switch price.

the ignition switch controls current to the the ignition coil, blower, rad fan, and wipers and defogger when in use and the alternator exciter circuit - if they are getting hot then either its making poor contact or the wires are not capable of transferring such current, Are they repaired with twist tape???

    What is twist tape?
By the way, I went to a renown electrician today. He touched the wires and said, itni to garam hoti he hay yeh taar. Don't worry about it, It's nothing. Relay is already installed with radiator fan so just drive and let the wire be.

Wiring to repair nahin hui hui... Peechay se wires aa rahi hain aik connector main aur wo connector ignition switch k peechay fix ho jata hay. Last time connector change kiya tha aur ignition switch ki back walay points saaf kiay thay. Soldering kahan honi thi iss process main?

Kissi had tak iss tarah ka setup tha jesa attached pic main hay.

the wires may get hot after a while - because they are very thin - however they wont cause a fire, If they are not jointed then dont worry about it - If you really want absolute cold wires then install a heavy duty ignition switch and redo the wires to thicker gauge. - MUCHO MONEY - spent for not much gain.
