    Question Help Needed: Tyre Size for Cuore

    Hi all!

    Its time the Cuore gets new tyres and I need a little help with the size.

    The car originally came with 145/70/R12. I currently have 155/70/R12 (10 mm wider and 14 mm greater in diameter)

    I'm planning to go for 165/70/R12 (because I don't think 165/65/R12 are available). These will be 20 mm wider and 28 mm greater in diameter.

    My question is, would there be any harm in going for this tyre size? Considering 165s will be 20 mm wider and 28 mm greater in diameter. Or if I can find 165/65/R12, would it be better to go for them instead?

    My height has stopped increasing, my width compensates for it.

    Shouldnt be a problem at all. rule of upsizing is155/70/r12165/65/r12175/55/r12this way your speedo will not give error. now when you will have 175/70 it till give error, you are going 70km as per speedo meter actually it will be 60. Well in short its not a matter of concern only make sure there is NO rubbing when steering is fully turned

    Thankyou for the suggestions guys. Although I couldn't login for the past two days.

    Got 155/70/R12. Bridgestone B250.

    @syedsarosh
    155 is the width in mm.
    70 is the tyre wall size, as a percentage of the width. So in this case, 70% of 155 mm.
    12 is the rim size.

    @asad1
    I previously had Dunlop Digitire ECO. They did great (drove them 58,400 kms ). But all shops that I visited didn't have 165/65/R12. Everyone had 70.
    My height has stopped increasing, my width compensates for it.
