Default Need some suggestions for Daihatsu Cuore

    Hi,
I've purchased Daihatsu Cuore eco 2006 6 month before. Very good condition.

Need some suggestions from your guys.

1- fuel consumption.. It is giving 9.5 to 10 km/L in city and 14.5 to 15 km/L long route (without AC). Is this good?
I seen some posts here. Guys are asking their cuore giving 15+ in city and 18+ on long route.

2- Door problem.. All doors make noise. It checked with many mechanics however still not comfortable.

3- One big problem I've about mechanics, If they fix one thing some other problem occur. Like a person adjust CNG.. car start problem with petrol.
Any good mechanic you suggest in lahore for cuore?

4- Seat.. Driver seat in not comfortable. Where I can buy some cheap seat?

5- Sometime back gear not works? any solution?

6- Anything you suggest for this car?

i have an auto cuore... gives about 10-11km/liter in traffic city driving...

car is noisy by default... its a local car... when driving the road noise is a lot.... its a flimsy car...

for doors... use wd40 spray... then some thick good grease on the joints...
check for any play in the door pins...

tape up the lock catch... will lessen the vibration but they will stay there....

dunno about gear issue... the auto is working fine...

seats are uncomfortable.... remember this car is supposed to be of the mehran category.... so it is uncomfortable... i have to sit in it two hours daily in traffic... and i cant feel my behind when i get out....

if you want comfort get a big car... or medium one at least... my old charade was a LOT better comfort then this....
the problem is not our govt... its the people..

I also bought a cuore 2005 almost 7 months before. 1- its petrol consumption in city was like 8,9 in city and 16 on long. its engine oil was completely black. i got it tuned, oil changed, plug wires changed and many other parts and now it gives 12/20. my car's both left doors were making noise. once rear door was struck. i got it serviced locally and now it is good. only front left door makes noise now. i hope to get it fixed someday. you need to find a good denter for this. 3- i also faced this.... 4- its seats are OK but its suspension is hard by default. on long routes car has a great grip and comfort. check tire pressure and condition. it should be 28 in all tires. you can get its seat rebuilt from some poshish wala. 5- i also had this problem and my mechanic fixed it. 6- don't expect comfort of a big car from it. take care of it and choose mechanics wisely. first pay attention to engine, suspension and then get body work done. once it is working smooth, you will love this little wonder.

Cuore is a very nice car just spend some money on it and than with minor care it will serve u for long
I have manual 2003 and i,m getting 18+ on isb roads
Door problem buy WD-40 spray it on all joints and than grease them and also grease door holders for a bit soft door movement
I have 2 mechanics 4 my cuore one of them is only for tunning and the other is 4 other issues so better choice ur mechanic wisely even if it is expensive go 4 it cuz a gud mechanic can save a lot
About seat yup it is not comfortable but u can live with it
About back gear i have the same issue some times back gear wont plug in and its normal just leave the clutch and press it again and than put the car in reverse it works 4 sure
Can,t think of a better signature

when i got this car, it needed urgent oil change. i used total 10w-30 at first oil change. maybe engine internals were still dirty or due to oil quality i was not satisfied with performance. after few weeks my brother took it for tuning and mechanic changed oil to caltex CNG. now car was performing well. change oil at 3000km and clean/replace air filter and change oil filter. i have never heard about kixxx. lets see what other cuore owners recommend.

    @meh1
i had smiler issue, this might be due thick oil, i used mobil 15w40, my car drive was so heavy than i used 5w30 of Total, its running smooth and with good pic.
Old grading for cuore is 5W30. 5W40 is still good
