Today I decided to get brake service done as front right wheel was giving noise when pressing or releasing brakes.Noise was coming after I got cv joint replaced maybe 2 months ago. They opened all wheels, applied ‎wd40 on two pins of front wheels *in front brake calipers as they were stuck.two bushes of both wheels ball joints are damaged too & other two bushes also need adjustment.Rear brakes need more work as brake pads needs replacement & also drums. One of spring in left rear brake was also broken, it will be replaced next time as wasn't available today. Also mechanic told left rear brake cylinder needs replacement too.Mechanic told me you can still use them for 5000km more but I think left rear brake work should must be done as it is worn out, rusted inside.‎
Somebody who has experience of brakes work please share your views.Should I get qabli brake pads, drums etc?‎

@wasf wheel must rotate freely specially front wheels. if not they will heat up and can fail any time. rear brakes are not so important. just get them cleaned and use new pads.

    Sorry to interrupt.
But rear brakes are as important as front brakes.!
If rear brakes are not working upto mark then the car may skid upon braking.

Left rear brake Is in very poor condition as visible in pics, pads are worn out, drum thickness Is very less, cylinder isn't working too it looks like,a spring is broken too, also handbrake function isn't proper due to worn out parts so I think it should be repaired early in near future.Front wheels brakes are in good condition apart from some bushes of front wheels suspension.

Today I was on AC shop for checking of gas leaked yesterday & found that joint between condensor steel pipe & rubber pipe leaked so they changed rubber pipe, fixed leaked joint, filled new gas, charged Rs 2500.After all work electrician noticed fan is auto he made it direct saying there isn't a kit installed in car for autofan & runing it on auto for last few days weakened compressor, again he said car is old engine is weak, keep fan runing direct.Electrician said that in auto system fan should start instantly when AC is turned ON.Then I went to mechanic who did autochoke, autofan told him all this & he replied he is mechanic not electrician so if it is made direct then you should keep it direct as runing on auto will weaken the conpressor. He said for proper auto system there should be Tstat valve installed & a kit that costs 14-15K is also installed on evaporator box which isn't present in my car. When I asked him about auto choke system with direct fan he said it doesn't matter,he said something like with Autofan interval for auto choke water? Is 2-3 minutes which with direct fan will increase to 4-5 minutes so nothing significant.Mechanic said if you want all genuine system you should install new wiring,do engine overhaul, install all missing pipes of system & then make autofan system runing.Mechanic said the auto system he turned ON works like this that fan don't start instantly with AC but will start when engine comes up to required temperature which isn't the right way.
INFO added : I forgot to write earlier that when electrician was filling AC gas with increased race of car,fan was on auto mode & after filling all gas electrician noticed fan didn't start so he removed radiator fan wire & attached it with engine body via a nut.is it normal or not?engine shouldn't heat up enough with AC ON & increased race to start autofan?

its fine bro. The harder you brake, the more weight is transferred to front making them more important. Of course rear brakes are important but front are more. @wasf if changing brake shoes and cleaning does not work then you should think about changing drum. Anyway mechanic can tell you better upon visual inspection. Just change shoes and check. Brake heating is dangerous because if brake oil will boil brakes will fail.

Mechanic told me If I want I can keep using rear brakes for 5000km more but when I change I should change brake pads & drums,he showed me lines on drums inner side felt when rubbing finger over it,also he says thickness of drum from inside is reduced a lot.some posts above I posted pics of both rear brakes & left one looks really bad, mechanic says its cylinder most likely isn't working

Please check your AC on Idle with Bonnet open and see if the FAN (condenser or Radiator) is ON ? Check if it remains running with full speed or not?
If FAN is working ok then get your radiator serviced you have clogged up radiator. Better solution is to get new radiator and use Coolant instead of water to avoid rust in future.

Please first verify it isn't any oil spilled externally while doing engine check. If not it could be your valve cover leak (black cover upon tappets must be sealed with silicon and bolts tightened with equal rotation on all bolts) or if worst then head gasket leak.
Keep checking your oil level on dip stick frequently. If level is reducing on the stick fast then you need to get the head opened only. New gasket, and new valve seals are required then.
In such humid weather old seals and gaskets give up usually if they had already seen a long life

Here I would only suggest to keep fan direct until and unless you resolve all electric wiring issues first. And yes with AC on the Fan should immediately switch on. with AC off it should keep switching on and off according to the temperature. I dont think there is any such component of worth 14-15k which controls the fan with AC. Just visit a good electrician famous of engine rewiring and then ask him to do all major jobs including AC fan and then revert to AUTO FAN switching.
And dont forget, before you do any of above - get your oil leak fixed first on priority.
