well vitz is a jdm and has a body that is made to house upto a 1.3 engine. so certainly it is stronger. and when rear-end collision occurs the car at back suffers more damage as front is made to absorb shock. last year i was on highway and had to brake because of donkey carts blocking road. a CD-70 was coming from back at very high speed. as i braked i saw it in back mirror coming on me with wheels locked. and bike front wheel collided on rear number plate area. result was my cuore's number plate broken and scratches on bumper and bike's frame was bent. both boys were fine with many scratches. so cuore is not that weak car.

Guys would you let a Coure Fan in who has sold his car couple of months ago (currently car less)

no answer i take it as a yes .

Car Sold to a friend of mine (technically its his now but unethically it can be borrowed any time)

    Bought it in March 2011

Well i owned a 2002 Coure (got it from a person who had driven it on petrol.couple of people owned it before me both were in the same family) when i purchased it its engine was in stock condition but it used to eat oil (decrease) mean after oil change in two thousand KM it would reduce half a litre. I had its engine overhauled (pistons that we took out were of 0 Number) by that time car had done above 150 Ks. Overhauled engine completely (Pistons, Rigns, Valves, Clutch plates eveything changed (spent 30 Ks on it in November 2011). Guess what this beauty gave me no problem after that ( couple of months ago when we sold it it clocked about 65000 KM, and engine was still 10/10, Mileage one highway (Petrol) was between 20 - 22 KMPL. And with CNG on highway it gave us about 22 - 25 KM in a KG of CNG. (before any arguments i would like to add that it had stock size alloy wheels and tyres, nothing fancy on it, maintained it in stock position. On another second thought it had small cylinder whose capacity was 5.5 Kg (max 6.0 Kgs of CNG)

Gee i really miss that beauty.

Insha Allah will upload its pics (when my friend visits my home)

I would be happy to answer any questions queries related to cuore (since mine was an old model we had to put quiet an effort to keep it in 100 % fit position.

And i just read the previous page, where someone has mentioned about a coure hitting a car from behind and its bonnet folding, guys first of all its a small car not a civic or altis we cannot compare it with these and second thing is that front area, body frame under front fenders is called crumple zone, bonnets are also made using this technique, these things are designed to crumple (fold) in case of impact to save passengers in cabin. Guess if these things wouldnt fold and getting out of hinges bonnet goes to the passengers one can fancy what would happen to them. Its not a fault all cars are made using this principle. Coure is also not an exception.

Same thing happens when I apply the brakes. The car stops normally but there is this sound. Second thing which might or might not be related to this is that on little rough road the car tend to slip if the speed is around 80. I thought that it might be due to alignment issues. I went to Toyota sahara motors on jail Road. The alignment guy said the suspension is damaged.
Now I want some suggestions regarding this. Should I get the car checked from somewhere else as well. And does anybody has any idea which is good place to get the suspension work done..

Sent from my Sony Xperia T using PW Forums Mobile app ...
if the tak tak sound comes on turns then your axle boot is torn off (axle boot: a rubber part which is covering CV joint), and if it is not repaired timely, there is damage to CV joint which then has an expensive solution. it is recommended that you should get it inspected from a good mechanic, or go to toyota walton motors for inspection.
If tak tak happens on accelerating or decelerating then get your engine mounts and suspension check...
hence .... get your car suspension, engine mounts, and axle joints checked.

You have to check for few more things,
-as stated above check for plugs
-if the car was tuned, then what was the condition of CB point (was it cleaned during tuning?) and its condenser (condenser is small part in distributor which helps in starting the engine)
    -CNG setting
-condition of oil filter and air filter.

Guys my cuore's dashboard starts vibrating when I cross 60km on uneven jerky roads. I know that cuore dashboard inevitably vibrates after 120 km but thats another issue. This problem of vibrating after 60 km has started a while ago and is really irritating. I have tightened all the screws of dashboard and wheels are aligned and balanced too. Any suggestion plz ?

gentleman, do check for a support rod in the center behind ashtray check if it is tight, and there are i think more than a couple bolts behind or adjoined with ac ducts do check for them also, i also detached whole dashboard to clean and then it used to vibrate turned out a bolt was missing. Otherwise its firmly held in place and do not vibrate at any speed.

can any one guide me k how to change the radiator coolant reservoir bottle ?
also the water level is decreasing in the reservoir bottle.
i showed it to the mechanic & he said that it is leaking. also that my radiator is rusted. whenever i open the Radiator cap, i just find rust everywhere along with water. what could be the possible reason for this rust accumulation ?

remove battery and bottle can be removed easily by unscrewing 2 bolts. install new bottle. use radiator flush to remove rust from radiator. if radiator needs replacement, find a kabuli one if can fine in good condition. they r of superior quality. otherwise use karachi made double nali one. last year i purchased copper one for 4500. i check water level very 2 weeks and it needs little bit after months.
to avoid rust use coolant in radiaotor. tap water contains salts and rusts radiator very fast. use auto fan and thermostat valve.
