Guys this is what i love about coure, you can get its JDM version spare parts in a very reasonable price and these fit with out any alteration. Bought these side view mirrors shown in pics by fezan (lahore bilal gunj) in 1500 Rs pair. In 2500 Rs tractable mirrors were available that can be controlled from cabin with a knob.Meter was available for 3500 Rs.

    I really miss my coure

    Assalam u Alaikum!

I have a question. As u know that switching on the ac causes the fan to run constantly. However, the problem I am facing is that the needle stays way below the optimal point of 40% as seen in the picture. When I turn off the ac, the needle comes up to the 40% mark.
What could be the problem here?

Does this happen on rushy traffic as well??
because if there is constant running and v few brakes, the needle stays lower even with ac, (though not that much lower what is in your case.)

Yup. This happens in rushy traffic as well. In fact, this pic was taken when the car had idled for 20 minutes with the ac on.

n yes mechanic just insert a screw in place of slow jet so that car will not take jerk on idle or slow RPM. and that Chape is working fine too
i will get the slow jet fixed in couple of days

Lol the mechanic was overjoyed at this! He said the car won't ever heat up. But ib know this temperature kills the engine...
Could there be a thermostat valve problem?

it happens in cuore as thermostat vavle does not fully close when cold. so when engine/ac is not generating much heat and water is flowing through radiator, needle drops. happens sometimes to me when driving with light foot and mild AC. but once it reaches mid, does not come back.

Cars in Lahore, Gujranwala, or suburbs will be suitable for us since we are in gujranwala.
    Lahore registered vehicle preferred.
No middle man or show room people.

The fan is supposed to run constantly.
Just replace your thermostat valve because it is jammed and is slow in closing back when the engine has cooled down.
Also fill with caltex or toyota genuine coolant.

Ok so I should get the valve from toyota dealership? Or would the one locally available in the market be enough?
And yes, I use that orange caltex coolant

    Dear All,

I drove my cuore for two years and then clutch worn out. I replaced the clutch and pressure plates with new one of good quality but they again worn out in just 6 months. Whats the reason? I only use clutch while switching gears and never put my foot on the paddle else wise.
Any body having clutch problems in cuore, please reply.

P.S. Its a used car, 2007 model and I bought it in 2012

    fezan.x

this normally does not happen with normal driving style. Be sure to use the best quality of cluth and pressure plate and bearing.

I got my 02 cuore over hauled completely in 2011, now my mechanic did not go for all genuine parts, i had quiet a scene with him over it,

He used the things like following order

    Piston and Rings Malaysian
Valves and valve seat were also either malaysian or taiwan
But when it came to clutch pressure plate and bearing he used japanese, that set alone cost me about 10, 11 ks ( he said there is no compromise on these)

car has done about 70,00 KM and still running 10/10 (scale i used is for a 12 year old car) comparing it with the time when it was overhauled.

as adil_dar said it can be quality issue. but it also can be a bad installation.

bro i bought my cuore in start 2012. for transfer i had to give return file with every single page. transfer was written on book and registration both. people offer cars with missing pages in file for 50K less. if you trust owner, buy it, but it will be hard to sell it.

what you have to do to get it on your name is another story.

A quick question. In my cuore 2007 I do have a switch by which I can directly on the radiator fan

the concerning thing is temperature needle position while using AC just reach around 20% mark
I use to on the radiator fan whenever I switch on the Ac and after 15 to 20 km driver my car temperature needle is around 20%
Plus in extreme hot summer needle was reaching till 40%
Is it normal or there is some issue?
