    Calling out Coure experts, I have 2010 Coure with CNG (Factory fitted)! Now the problem is extremely low mileage, like on petrol it does 7KMPL and on a tank of gas it does 130KM.

    Please give some suggestions and tips on what to do in order to improve the scenario, its a 3rd car at home and rarely used, mostly due to the fact that it gives poor fuel economy

    when was the last time u did tuning? gas mileage is not bad. is it an auto one on CNG?
    for good mileage, u gotta have a tuned engine(all good workshops will check ignition system in detail too while tuning), make sure engine oil, air filter is clean. tires roll smoothly. pressure is 26.

    Thanks for the response, all maintenence work is done from 3S dealership and everything seems to be in perfect place. Tire pressure is kept at 30 which in comparison with the 26 should give even better mileage. I'm not sure what can be the issue. And its a manual transmission car

    Today took my car first time to islamabad. Its 2006 model, and alham du llilah it went v good all the way.
    Below is the image of fuel avg. First one (bottom most) was filled last nite. Above two are of today. Now tank is half, will refill tomorrow and will update.

    The only problem I faced today was abnormal behaviour of my tires. Wheel balances nd and alignments was done last week, but today when I had covered abt 200 km from lahore, my car started vibrating, even at v low speed. Long story short it was front left tire which was deshaped, I replaced it with stupney.

    Now again car is vibrating, this time I feel that its front rite tire, and this time steering also vibrates continually bit rite n left (even at v low speed). Question is what is the cause of the problem?
    It is not balancing problem im sure, And what should I do now?? Replace front tire with rear ???? And buy new tire after reaching back lahore??

    Urgent help needed.

    @meh1 and all others.

    @meh1 and all others.
    average is really good bro!

    what is tyre history? what comes to my mind is:
    1:at high speed, heat deshaped (probably old) tyres
    2: after alignment things were not properly tightened and it is out after some distance. alignment can also go out after hitting cat eyes hard.
    3: steering knuckles(locally called steering ends got a problem)
    4: problem in one CV joint.

    anyway firstly swap tyres from back with front. and get alignment checked. I hope it will fix.

    Tires are driven about 20 k only, dunlop, 150 55 12, and that too within lahore only. Yes, I was thinking same that at higher speed hitting any pot hole or cat eyes may hv caused this.
    As far as improper allignment is concerned, I have always taken my car toyota walton and never faced such problem.
    Just now came back after tire swap. Front rite tire was also deshaped.

    Below is the latest fuel avg.
    It also includes salt range drive plus drive in islamabad city.

    I used dunlop 165/70-R12 for many years. they proved to be very reliable and durable. so this time I bought two general 145/70-R12 for front on recommendation of shopkeeper. amazingly there is no visible difference in width. anyway there is in height/profile. these general tires r very soft and noiseless. durability will be proved in coming years.Cuore Fan Club -1622347Cuore Fan Club -1622345

    these tires r 2300 each. paid 100 for fitting. a new version of these has white writing on them, 2800 each, but 500/tire was much so I got simple ones from general authorized dealer.
    technically it is few mm (7) difference in height but as old tires r worn and these r new, visibly they r equal.
    Dunlop ones priced 4000. Chinese tires were also available in in price 2500-3500. only generals have warranty.

    Hi,

    how much difference you feel with the steering ? is it more soft now ? and whats the difference in suspension n overall ride ?
    i am using 165/70/12 and my steering is quite hard, may be bcoz of tire size

    Regards
    Waris
