I have a 2004 cuore automatic. I need to know that does it have a transmission oil filter??? at what interval does it need to get changed?? and is it easily accessible ... i mean i read on PW that prosmatec trans oil filter is not easily accessible and you have to remove the transmission assembly to reach it...is it so with cuore too?? and how much do toyota people charge for it??
Because my cuore gives shift jerk especially during second gear change and reverse gear hasnt been doing well lately....i have replaced the transmission oil at regular intervals but never thought of changing the transmission oil filter. so may be that is a factor...
Just take your car to authorized dealers and confirm from them. They will lift the car to check it. Take to price estimate from different workshops around you or into your knowledge and get it change from the shop which suits you.
