    Default Mira ES Fan Club

Hello and welcome guys to the official Mira Es Fan page.
So decided to make this page as i couldn't find another.
So , most of people in Pakistan are tired of high fuel prices and to overcome this issue , people leaned towards 660cc cars but they were shocked at their low average figures and people developed a bad image about their economy in their mind but now Daihatsu has launched a truly fuel saving "Eco" car named mira es with its new technology called "Eco-Idle".
    So,whats basically eco idle ?
Its a fuel saving technology introduced by Daihatsu in which the car switches of when at stop or lower than 11 km/h.
It also has extra storage batteries for to store electric from regenerative braking.
So whats the difference between Mira eS and other cars?
Mira eS is the most fuel efficient car around the globe which offers the best milage of 30-33.6Km according to Japanese tests.
    This car has Regenerative braking.
Eco idol or start stop system.
Extra Batteries for storage of Regenerative Braking.
All of cars electronics runs on its extra
    .
Different variants of this car are introduced including
X Memorial Edition (It includes alloys and rear seat headrests extra than X and chrome handles too )
G package (Top of the line , It has VSC,TRC and climate control A/C and also Push start which is optional and chrome handles and it also features 4 Airbags)
L package (Basic , without keyless entry , Retractable mirror , just beige interior)
    D package (Most Basic)
    And some other packages.
    Excellent suspension and superb Drive.
It also has a CVT transmission and Digital Meter
    Dashboard gears and much more.
This car may not be the best in 660cc range but surely is the most fuel efficient car!
This car was launched in 2011 and also know as
    Toyota Pixis Epoch
    Subaru Pleo +

Traffic conditions are really challenging in Karachi and definitely you cannot attain the average I am getting.

You are absolutely right brother. Facelift comes with different SA engine that have better fuel average than previous one. And as you said, 2nd reason of your good average is your route.

As soon as i get out of my building within 50 seconds a signal comes and because of eco idle not starting on the spot i usually have to stop at the 120 sec signal shifting to P and putting thr hand brake. And people of karachi are so inpatient that they dont let others to pick their cars the way they want to they just horn as if they are runninh outta their lives. Thats the main problem with Karachi

I see 1 2 kms are enough. But the main reason for his average is his route. Btw does the ecu reset thing works if you wanna get the exact km/ltr

BTW what average you are getting?
Your driving habits? Light foot or hard?

In summer with AC in city drive with heavy traffic, 15-16km/L is good average.
Always try to drive car in ODO's green light mode. It will give you max possible average.

Glad you asked and noticed :-P i am the youngest driver here. Well i do drive on light foot i am not a fan of racing, i try to drive my car on the green light but till 16 it remains blue no matter what. I just refilled 25 ltrs of hobc from pso drove for about 30kms today long and short routes the odo meters showed 495 at first and now its showing 457 i never rely on this, and the km/ltr meter is at 18.7 to 21. I am driving on hobc for the 2nd time and after 2 months as hobc wasnt available here in khi. I have to tell you guys hobc is best, drive pick response everything deems to brilliant the tyre pressure is 34 atm and i will keep it till my tank is empty. I hope hobc happens to be economical for me because i have not got more than 320 kms in city with 50 percenr of the times ac on. Brief me about your car now if possible we can chat on whatsapp 03357755575

If I had to choose, I will go for Chocolate Brown color. Though cleaning and maintaining this color is difficult but whenever you wash this color and apply wax on it, it will give you much more shine that is not possible on silver color. Mira's shape gives different look in dark color.
Further, I hope once your Brother get his own car, he will start caring it. :-)

I disagree. Mira has perhaps the cleanest silver i have ever seen, apply a quality wax on it and there you go. But that brown color is for those cities where there is less dust, but in a city like Karachi dark color gets more dusty and seems as if the car just came from off road drive. I have seen many dusty mira's in brown and black. Pearl white and silver are perhaps the cleanest colors i have seen in this car

High octane is working pretty well for me. Completed 100 plus kms with 1 bar missing and the meter is showing 370 sth km remaining. I am expecting it to hit almost 360 with full 22 ltr tank. The drive has been amazing, 4 people on board with full ac and full throw the pick was brilliant the car didnt have to struggle at any second trust me. High octane is the best. I got it from factory pso pump.
