    Default Mira ES Fan Club

Hello and welcome guys to the official Mira Es Fan page.
So decided to make this page as i couldn't find another.
So , most of people in Pakistan are tired of high fuel prices and to overcome this issue , people leaned towards 660cc cars but they were shocked at their low average figures and people developed a bad image about their economy in their mind but now Daihatsu has launched a truly fuel saving "Eco" car named mira es with its new technology called "Eco-Idle".
    So,whats basically eco idle ?
Its a fuel saving technology introduced by Daihatsu in which the car switches of when at stop or lower than 11 km/h.
It also has extra storage batteries for to store electric from regenerative braking.
So whats the difference between Mira eS and other cars?
Mira eS is the most fuel efficient car around the globe which offers the best milage of 30-33.6Km according to Japanese tests.
    This car has Regenerative braking.
Eco idol or start stop system.
Extra Batteries for storage of Regenerative Braking.
All of cars electronics runs on its extra
    .
Different variants of this car are introduced including
X Memorial Edition (It includes alloys and rear seat headrests extra than X and chrome handles too )
G package (Top of the line , It has VSC,TRC and climate control A/C and also Push start which is optional and chrome handles and it also features 4 Airbags)
L package (Basic , without keyless entry , Retractable mirror , just beige interior)
    D package (Most Basic)
    And some other packages.
    Excellent suspension and superb Drive.
It also has a CVT transmission and Digital Meter
    Dashboard gears and much more.
This car may not be the best in 660cc range but surely is the most fuel efficient car!
This car was launched in 2011 and also know as
    Toyota Pixis Epoch
    Subaru Pleo +

I've been driving my Mira ES since 2 months. Very Smooth Drive. Comfort level is very good. Mileage is 19-21 KM/L. AC is Full chilling.
Now to the only problem i've faced while driving my car. When ever i put some luggage in the boot space (about 5-10 KG) or have seated 3 people in the car, the car gives a huge bump from the back side when ever i cross a very minor "smooth" bump. By Smooth Bump i mean the road does not have a "khadda" there but a smooth road being up and down, which is felt with full impact on the back of the car, this has even happened when only i am in the car. The Car from the back feels like gets a jump, a huge voice is also generated.
I'll Describe Another Scenario, which will make things more clearer, when the car is crossed over a speed breaker. The car doesn't touch with the road that i know, but when the car's back wheels cross the speed breaker and land on the road right after the speed breaker that noise from the back suspension comes. I've tried many things (such as taking the tire and kit out and drive over those smooth bumps) but the car literally bounces from the back, which is becoming irritating.
    PLEASE GUIDANCE IS NEEDED!!!!!!

When the car's suspension is pushed to its limits , they generate this sound!
This car is meant for max 200kg , 3 Pakistani's + 10kg luggage makes it above 250kg thats why it makes this problem

    I have an idea

Whenever such scenario is about to happen, just offload the passengers, cross speed breaker and ask passengers to use a taxi service and not to mess your car. Hopefully it solves the issue

I have 2011 Mira, went from ISB to LHR using GT road, occasionally touching 100. 25L tank got empty at 675KM on my return journey giving 27KM/L. 2 adults and 2 children on board.

Another time with same no of people using motorway max speed of 116 was achieved. Fuel consumption on this trip was 22KM/L.

Engine sound on motorway was high specially at salt range section, S modes was in use.

Never got engine hot indication or feel.

It is experienced that if car is loaded with 4 and is on AC and on slight uphill, 660 will not be enough.

High load driving will put load on gear and often gear oil reduction may be seen. Expert at Toyota revealed to me while doing ATF change.

I have been reading comments on KEI car owners with auto tranny on long routes with 3-4 passenger load, how come they drove at speed above 100+ and getting 20+KM/L average, aren't there any affect on their engine life with 3 speed auto gear box when drove for long time (provided the transmission is 3 speed which i also verified from Wiki). if my info is wrong can someone confirm me the auto tranny of all KEI cars (660cc) i.e. 3 or 4 speed?

Based on my experience with cars, 3 speed trans is meant for short distances like in big urban cities as due to traffic conditions one cannot go easily to 4th gear, one can understand what i meant if they have traveled abroad especially considering cities like Tokyo and thats why these cars are called KEI cars.

My view with 660CC engine shud be with manual tranny for smooth run and getting good fuel average? Based on your feedback I will consider to buy a 660cc car for my school kids pickup/drop as currently being under used is 1.0 vitz and its drive is pathetic and fuel average is not more than 14KM/L? auto is preferred if any trim is coming with 4 speed gearbox otherwise will go with manual.

Guys!. I will really appreciate your opinion.
