can only be diagnosed when its actually happening.
mechanic would check current and fuel supply when car is warmed up and not starting up
auto choke needs to go back to stop vibration on cold.and the black smoke is a sign of rich mixture

Seems like a self starter problem. Get it checked. May be its bushes need replacement.

It could be because of incorrect tappet clearance and weak ignition coil, get it checked accordingly.

The engine rotates without hesitation, this means self is ok and if i push strt it when hot , it starts . Mechanic by passed coil resistnce to chck and it strted but he was not 100 sure wheter it is coil problem. No blck smoke . Just some soot falls from tail pipe o n cold strtup.

check the coil resistor with a multimeter and check that its wired up correctly, there should be 1 wire coming from the starter solenoid trigger directly to the coil bypassing the resistor - this causes the coil to work on full battery voltage - creating hotter sparks for startup.

If you pass this test then check for vapor lock, remove the fuel intake pipe at the fuel pump and see if it blows out a lot of vapor.
