Default Mira Custom 2007 A.C tripping issue

AoA everyone. I bought this Mira Custom 2007 few months ago unregistered. Over all its a pretty good car. A.C worked fine till May but in June when it really got hot, A.C started to trip. I mean when i start driving the car A.C works great for like half an hour but after that it starts to trip every 2-3 minutes. For 5 minutes it throws hot air then A.C kicks in again and engine takes a huge toll. I mean it suddenly becomes underpowered. Then again after throwing cold air for 2-3 minutes, A.C trips. It keeps on happening until I turn it off. What could be the reason for this?

Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

    Thank You!!!

When you press really hard on the gas pedal the A/C trips .
These 660cc's dont tend to move with A/C until you press really hard or floor the gas pedal and as a result A/C trips but it should kick in as soon as you ease of the gas pedal

Yes I have noticed that too. But the issue I've described above is something different. A.C keeps on tripping even on the G.T. Road at a constant speed of 60-100km/h. It doesnt trip for the first half an hour when I take out the car from the garage but after that it keeps on tripping whether I floor the pedal or not. It trips on idle too.

Is ur car heating up. Faced the exact same issue with my 07 mira. The car was heating up which was the reason the ac was tripping to protect itself. These cars cars dont even have a gauge to show the temp.

Same no. (349) as my Liana!

As for the poster, this is a common fault in 660cc cars according to what I was told when in the market looking for a car.

No the car is not heating up. I never ever saw the red light in the dash which indicates over heating with or without A.C even in traffic jams. I think the tiny condenser cannot dissipates the heat properly so the protection system temporarily trips the compressor then turn it on again when the condenser cools a bit down. Its a huge let down for me because I really loved this car.

Check the condenser for damage , mechanic mostly repair the condenser while repairing an accidental car

Your car's A/C might be low on gas. Check the condensor to see it's condition.. Have it steam washed to enhance it's performance.

Bro in my case also the red light was not showing but the engine was very hot. Check ur condenser is it clogged or gas can be low which is the reason why ac is tripping. btw are u living in karachi?

Condenser was washed when this issue arose for the first time. But I'll take it to a mechanic for a thorough checkup of the cooling system. Im from Gujrat @ muradi.

Did you change Gas when servicing the condenser. Check if it is same cooling grade of Freon.

I owned a 2007 daihatsu move and it gave the same issue after one year. I took it to my local 3S suzuki dealer (a big mistake) and he just overfilled the compressor with gas and somehow managed to block the compressor permanently. I then took it to my mechanic who got me a mini pajeros Compressor and even changed the radiator (dunno why he did that for). Total expenditure was around 14,000/- After this the car worked perfectly.

This summer I had the same problem, and sold it on an as is where is basis. The dealer who bought it from me was telling me that these mechanics rip the customer off,it's best to have a contact in bilal gunj who can source parts of similar half cut cars.

So go to the great chaotic bilal gunj, preferably with a person who has contacts there and get the car sorted out for a reasonable rate.

That is not very effective.. Also, pressurized water may harm the fins. Get it steam washed from a proper A/C mechanic.

Condenser was not removed so the original gas is still in the system.
