How to get the perfect hookup with the front tyres (in a front wheel drive car) while getting off the line as quickly as possible in 1st gear without spinning the wheels? Is it methodical or all down to intuition?
Wheelspin costs time so I intuitively release the clutch linearly while depressing the accelerator at the same time enough to get the best pick possible. Yes I do get wheel spin sometimes but only slightly. Any other special techniques or clutch settings to improve on this?
