Default 1st gear pickup in a manual car

How to get the perfect hookup with the front tyres (in a front wheel drive car) while getting off the line as quickly as possible in 1st gear without spinning the wheels? Is it methodical or all down to intuition?

Wheelspin costs time so I intuitively release the clutch linearly while depressing the accelerator at the same time enough to get the best pick possible. Yes I do get wheel spin sometimes but only slightly. Any other special techniques or clutch settings to improve on this?

The car is faster if launched at higher rpm with wheel spin, than at low rpm and no wheel spin.

Lol no Wheelspin always means time is lost. A little bit may be healthy but 99.9% of the time it's guaranteed that you will lose time (around 0.3-0.5 seconds) Higher revs are helpful as long as they don't translate to wheelspin. F1 drivers do the same on race starts. Like I said its about finding the perfect hookup without bogging down
High RPM and no Wheelspin= faster start

Lol I do that in my stock Cuore. Would love to do in my own GTR one day but that's all I can afford for now. Tyres are stock General tyres 145/Tr12. Rest I don't know but all is stock. I meant can we change basic stuff like the bite point of the clutch or the clutch cable (loosening tightening) to help?

what are you trying to achieve here if you do not have a good testing point?

the suspension, torque mounts, tires and everything else on your car is not meant for this sort of purpose

solid mounts - you want all the engine torque to go to the drive wheels.

yes - but with your car it will break like a twig, a proper launch technique is to maintain the highest possible drive torque with the minimum of wheel slip (spin) - your aim is to get the highest rate of acceleration.

This highly depends on the contact patch of the tires and the material of the tires too, then comes in the engine torque loading the chassis shell, the movement of the car is the reaction of the engine torque against the shell.

So how would you like to have fun in this situation.
