Its a Radar mounted in front of the car. This feature is known as SMART ASSIST. It helps in advanced braking by detecting an object within a distance of 4 meters, but car should be driving at a speed under 30 km/hr. It also stops the car in case of sudden acceleration by mistake in idle condition e.g. in garage, traffic signals etc.

I recently came across an issue regarding my Mira 2014 Smart Assist Warning Light staying on permanently, went to the best technician in Lahore, he did the reprogramming of the Radar a few times, the problem resolves temporarily but again pops up. Got the Radar changed from 2nd hand spare parts market, the error vanished as the new radar was installed, but appeared again after some time. If anyone has an answer to this please let me know, since I am trying to figure out as to what has actually gone wrong with smart assist. Technicians in Lahore seems to be clueless in this regard. Thanks.

Better to avoid such fancy option cars in Pakistan... Buy simpler version and save some bucks aswell...

On a side note, this radar might only be introduced for female drivers

AOA, Dear can u send me the number and location of that mechanic. I also have a Mira ES X (SA) but its Smart Assist is not switching off or may be the button is not working and so Smart Assist remains ON all the time. Any clue about this problem? All other buttons like ECO idle and Traction Control are perfectly working.

Sorry for the delayed response, Its Pak Autos situated next to Suraya Azeem Hospital Chaburji. Technicians name is Iqbal Pyara and Mobile number is 0322-4287471. All he knows is flashing the software, and charge Rs. 7000 for it. However the irony is this, that there is no other technician in Lahore, who can even do this. Best of luck.

You have to press and hold the smart assist button a little longer to turn off smart assist. No need to flash or change buttons.

    Salaam,
I recently purchased a Mira ES 2013. Its front seat belts are not working. Both of them are loose. Where can I get them fixed or buy a used pair of good seat belts?
Your help will be greatly appreciated..
