Exclamation Mira 2011 CVT - Left Indicator Light is continuously blinking as i turned on the car

    Assalaam o Alaikoom

I m here with a problem that my friend's car "Daihatsu Mira 2011 - CVT" left indicator light is continuously blinking as he turned on the car. Mechanics checked the indicator assembly and hazard light assembly but found no fault in these assemblies. Mechanics told me that the car's fuse box (behind dashboard) has issue and flasher is builtin in this model so the whole fuse box needs to be changed.

    I need to know that

    1. What are the possible causes of this issue ?
    2. where is flasher in this model of Mira ? Is Flasher builtin in this model or it a separate component ?
    3. Should I change the whole fuse box (behind dashboard) ?

    Experts (@Xulfiqar @SER_GTR @syncview @capsat)
Please need help from you guys.

    Thanks In Advance.

Maybe the contacts in the Headlight/indicator switch got stuck on left side. Check the switch also

Certainly there is no need to change the whole fuse box. Maybe some issue in wiring.

Try to find out indicator fuses remove them and start the car. For once remove and refit all indicator bulbs of the left side.

Is the hazard button functioning okay?
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

firstly make sure that this is actually a flasher etc issue, by the looks of it, it looks like a body control module - you will need to connect some scan tool that can check lower level codes, codes from this will show up with the B or C prefix.

This Is Nothing To Do With OBD-II Scanner....Its Not Engine Related Issue

You Need To Trace Wiring And Find Issue There For Any Short In Wiring...Malfunction Of Blinker Flasher

This unit will not show anything other than Pxxxx codes, P = powertrain which are engine and transmission.

you need a deep level scanner which can interrogate the body control module, ABS etc.
