    Default Daihatsu mira suspension

Is the mira being low on ground is really a issue or i have just heard the rumors?
Recently my friend's cousin has bought mira 2012 model and it sucks on bumps in karachi (according to him). To such extreme that the pillar got damaged. So is this issue of mira in Pakistan?

the ground clearance of miras is generally low as with almost all Japanese cars. I have put metal spacers under my cars springs and the car is now trouble free. Obviously the manufacturer has designed the car without these spacers and therefore there is some loss of stability at high speeds above 90 kmph in my opinion. However, i have driven it recently between Isb to Peshawar at 135 kmph as well on the Motorway without any considerable feel of instability. you in any case wont be driving that fast in karachi. You need to make sure that the spacers you get are not too high otherwise you will have to contend with a dug-dug sound on the bumps with more instability. This was the case with me so i got the spacer size reduced from the Kharadia later and now the car is perfect.

    Experts?
Yes, this is the issue, But problem is these stupidly build speed Breakers not suspension. Mira will easily cross any speed breaker with full load if that speed breakers is Built as per international standard height & width.
Most speed breakers in Pakistan are actually car breakers :-)

Seriously means no rules no regulation. Speed breakers are like to make the car fly.

i am using almost .75 inch spacers, if i correctly recall. However, one can first have a feel with a big spacer and the same can later be reduced by the kharadia. Cost would around a 1000 bucks incl mazdoori....

Almost all JDMs have low ground clearance... if your family is small, drive carefully and very slowly over speed breakers... if family members are more, u can use spacers...
