I think the lack of a balancer shaft makes it too buzzy. The 4G63 was much smoother from what I remember. The heart of the Evo X is the amazing awd system, without it the Evo would just be another turbocharged car. Newer car's are too focused on comfort these day's, that's exactly why I prefer the 360 Challenge Stradale over the F430.
Lack of Balancer shaft can be justified with the fact what EVOs has so far been popular of....Power like the exotics at the price of Econoboxes!! Given the fact that the 290 HP EVO 9 had to be taken for service every 2 months...Though I have not driven it so can't tell how its vibration feel or costs to the comfort. But the EVO X unlike its predecessors does not require the owner to go to the dealership every two months. 4b11t is overall improvisation of the 4g63 i.e. the Torque the X makes is massive then its predecessors.
