    Default FAW V2 Owner's Review

So I finally made my Father agree and bought this beauty.
Now you guys are gonna get the first owner's review I guess
I've driven it for almost 500kms now.
First talking about the drive, its beautiful and wonderful.
The acceleration is just freakin awesome.
I asked a friend who has 2013 gli to have a little race with me just to check the acceleration and I was amazed when the gli couldnt even catch up close :')
The ABS brake is quite responsive.
Although there's a little play in the paddle(if play means you have to press the paddle more).Bit the ABS WAS QUITE RESPONSIVE
    The suspension was also wonderful.
I just felt of it like my dad's corolla. So comfortable that I'm totally satisfied.
In the interior there's ample seat for a person like me (6''1' tall) on the front seats and the people on the back can also easily be entertained.
I didnt have a usb so I borrowed it from a friend for a bit
Usb played well and the two speakers did the job for me although I like high bass but they're perfect for doing the job .
The steering is very easy to handle.
The only issue I had was that it took me almost a day to get used to the opposite positions of headlights and viper knob.
The plastic of interior as some people said isn't really cheap but the color sometimes make it look so in high sunlight.
The grip of the car is amazing, just like a JDM as I'be previosuly owned a JDM.
    Why did I buy it?
I had to buy a car now and my considerations were cultus, wagon r,used vitz and passo.
It was quite difficult to make a choice.
    Pros:
The car is brand new unlike JDMs,it wont make me go to the workshop again and again, even if there's anything wrong, its the company's headache to solve the problem upto 50,000 kms.
It has dual airbags as compared to cultus and wagon r.
Power windows, power steering,ABS which are not there in cultus.
    The drive is very smooth.
It is way more powerful as it is 1300cc and I could not get any other 1300 cc new car in this range.
Cultus and wagon r didnt werwe totally waved out of my mind after V2.

    Cons:
Uptill now no resale, but I am hapy that they have set up their plant in Karachi and they say they will be starting its local production in 2015 which means they are here to stay and make a name in the market.
Spare parts although available all over Pakistan in 3S dealerships but not in open market uptill now.

I was able to convince myself that these cons are nothing infront of the pros so I finally decided to take it.I'm loving the ride untill now as its beautifull, sexy and a good performer.I'm sharing the pictures .I'll sooon be getting its body kit made aswell.
Anything else you guys wanna ask me,you can.

    Edited: 6th November 2015
Ive used my V2 for almost a year now and I'm really satisfied with it.My brother has also bought a v2 after my experience in white color.
He is also enjoying the ride.
I would recommend anyone who has a budget of 1 million to go for this car.
My brother got this Financed from JS bank.
    We're loving it

I couldn't go with him but this is how he explained.

Firstly paint quality was great. Design was beautiful as well, but coming to the engine it dissapointed him. A strange noise came and kept increasing with speed. Being positive dad asked the manager about it but he said it is common to all units. The engine is of corolla 2007 according to the manager. Brakes are ABS but very non responsive. Press whole foot down otherwise it doesn't brake, no match for swift/corolla brakes. The engine is china made. Dad wasn't impressed by the pick either. Claiming it was not better than a gli. Dissapointed he went to testdrive the WR, and it was decent, the brakes were responsive, the engine had nice pick from zero kmh. Better interior.
Now he has decided to buy WR and i don't know what to do bcuz that thing is ugly af. Should I trust you guys or my dads test drive?
Wow manager should be fired he doesn't even know what product they are selling

    1. Brother you are first one that is calming engine noise. all user are satisfied.
    2. how you can say a 13" tyre without ABS and EBD Brake is better then 14" wider Tyre with ABS and EBD.
    3. its engine is Made by FAW toyota. Engin of F16 also from china. its not a logic.
    4. i dont believe logically becaus wagon R contains just 52hp@Rpm and produce 63Nm@rpm Torque and V2 contains 91hp@Rpm and produce 120Nm@rpm Torque almost dubble then wagon R so you can imagine its pickup.

Ples tel to our Respected uncle

    1. V2 is more wider then wagon R
    2. its body is more strong then wagon R
    3. V2 has Safety feature, wagon R nothing
    4. More comfortable seats then Wagon R
    5. Built in Fog Lamps
    6. Beautiful Shape then Wagon R
    7. Much more Better suspension in V2 due to independent suspension, if you compare it with wagon R and Swift.
    8. V2 4 dors Power windows, wagon R just 2 front.
    9. V2 power side mirror, wagon R no power side mirror in VXL.
    10. V2 is value of money. wagon R first you change Tyre, lose Road grip. vibration of engine due to 3 slndr
nothing loaded feature in VXL pakag.

    Prob in V 2

wind crossing noise after 80 Km/h speed it can be resolved.

Why don't you test Drive the V2 yourself.
Most of the users of V2 on this forum would not agree with your Dad's experience.

W.salam, bro with due respect I don't agree to what you have mentioned as I drive V2......drive it in city plus take it to long routes.....there's no engine noise as such.....some voice is produced by evry kinda engine that usually increases a bit whn car accelerates, same is the case with V2. The unit tht I've responds to brakes very well, whn i touch 60 km/hr or drive above the brake paddle just needs a touch......it really gives the feeling of getting stick on the road. The only bad thing which i came across was wind noise which i got fixed at an expense of Rs. 1500 by installing door rubbers.
I believe in the phenomenon "ur money ur decision", U know well about sub standard quality of Suzuki, rest decision will be yours......but in must say V2 will not disappoint u.

Checked out V2 today, Liked the look and feel of the interior, could not test drive it. so no comments. The paint had shades on it and the door closing was not what you would expect of a new car. Will be checking it out in detail before making a final decision. hopefully this car does pick up in market.

The profile and width of both rear tyres does not match each other. I presume that the guy is using the backup tyre (stepni) as one of the rear tyre.

The tyre that looks wide is the tyre with damaged control arm with lot of negative camber looking wide due to image quality

    You are so lucky...you got a chance to see V2 in khi...I commute around 30 kms daily...but I couldn't find any. ..

Well the sticker can also be peel out
