FAW also build a local assembling plant due to successful market of FAW-XPV.

    Drive is good,
Airbags, ABS, EPS and many other up to date features that you find in latest Europeans cars
    dashboard rocks,
    big luggage space,
good leg space for both front and back pessengers
3 years or 60000 KM dealer warranty

    Drawbacks:
    -------------
    Minor quality issues
Lots of Back windows noise when driving at high speed
May be resale is not good

I think if you can afford Swift and fuel economy is not an issue, then Swift is a better option because it has better quality, good resale and it's a succesful car being sold for so many years.

Otherwise V2 is good option if resale and minor quality issues are not a problem
Thanks for your kind advice brother

The only disadvantage of swift is 1328cc. and V2 is 1298cc. while sitting in both of cars, I felt relaxed in swift. I felt it more mature and its road grip is good. Swift engine is reliable and pick is also good. suspension of V2 and swift is almost same.

I don't want to buy an imported car for my daily and rough use in city.

The swift is a better car, i have the 1.3 dlx manual (without the navi crap), cost me almost 1.4 million. To me thats a lot of money to pay for a 1.3L hatchback. but the car is great build quality, it has nice plastics all round, the sound deadening is better and all the other shabang that a university student should not give a crap about.

The V2 is cost me 10.5, is virtually the same as a Swift, yes the doors are noisy, the sound deadening isnt as good the plastic is cheap.
I think it has a better turning radius since its modelled on a vitz. the mirrors have indicators and it has front and back fog lights, company takes care of everything upto 50K km which is alot for someone with only city commutes. I think the V2 has more leg room. and i may get some abuse for this one , but i think the brakes are way way better then a swift.

with all that said the V2 is a much better purchase, since i dont plan on selling mine for atleast half a decade. and though its primarily for my wife and new born. while the swift is under the use (read abuse) of my 21 year old university going sibling. the swift can be sold alot easier but that is never a reason why i believe people should buy cars.

So if i had to choose it would definitely be the Chinese hatchback and not the suzuki.

    Good luck
    Thanks brother

Sorry for jumping in late on the discussion, have been busy for the past few weeks. i will try to describe my own experience so you may decide impartially. I was in the same position as you are right now confused between Swift and V2. Finally decided for V2 in the end.

    So here it goes..

My requirement was a hatchback with comfortable ride in mind since it would have to be used for the family. My cousin and a few friends owned swift and i have drove it as well. Amazing Car, Good quality.

Checked out V2 after coming to a Pakwheels review of V2 after its launch in pakistan. Went to the showroom and it was just great, exceeding my expectations. I was of the same view "Chinese Maal hoga, Farigh Hogi etc etc". But to my surprise it was great. Didn't had a test drive but came to this forum and read the reviews and they all seem to agree that the drive was smooth and comfortable.

So crossed my fingers and bought the car and its been a month now drove around 2k kms now. Till now my findings:

    Great, Comfortable and Smooth ride.
    Perfect for city use.
    Superb handling.
Mileage is not extraordinary it gave me around 14.5 on my trip to lhr. And within city with modest traffic and speed around 80-90km its round about 12/12.5.
Got into an accident(Truck slammed in from the side) but the body is strong and had just minor damage to rear left side fender and bumper. Went to the dealership costed me around 7k for the denting and painting and bumper repair.
Dealership people are attentive and helpful. Parts are easily available through dealerships.

Now the things that i dont like till now is the braking sound which most of the people faced but its intermittent and in no way affects the braking. Noisy cabin and ac fan. But thats a problem for you if you continuously drive above 100/110km/hr otherwise within city not a dealbreaker i must say.

The major point in choosing V2 was that it would have atleast proper after sales support and since mostly new cars dont have any major problems for atleast a few years so why should i bother buying a CAR whose history is unknown to me(JDM). And chose V2 over swith because they both are almost the same cars so why should i bother spending my hard earned money on swift a good 0.4 millions extra for what just Good brand name and maybe just a higher quality interior. Thanks but no thanks. Why dont i use this amount for contingencies if god forbids any thing happens to my v2.

In the end your decision should be about which car gives you more satisfaction when you drive it. if its swift then no argument will be good enough for you to buy a v2, and vice versa.

Hope this might help you in making a decision.

p.s: For swift i would've paid extra on registration and yearly tokens as well :p just saying
    Thanks brother for details

    Default Suzuki swift 1.3 Dlx

For 3 years i had used Swift(Both DLX AND DX). It is a excellent car with fantastic drive but not a fuel efficient car, frankly speaking avearge was 12km/ltr inside city while max 16km/ltr on long drive. So you can say it's Fuel sucking car but has Excellent drive ;P

    Own Swift DLX 2015

    - 11-12km/l fuel consumption in city
    - Not comfortable, not at all recommended for long travel
    - Dashboard, doors etc rattle
    - Interior plastic is pretty poor but ok'ish
    - Usual Pak Suzuki quality issues

The only thing going for it is
    - is a pocket rocket

As far as Faw V2 is concerned, haven't driven it and don't know anyone who owns it so I cannot comment on it. Personally speaking, don't like its shape

Drive is nice of v2, suspension is same like as swift, brakes are very good, interior is not much nice but it's fine for me in this price.
Overall it is a nice car in every aspect. I'll give it 7.5/10 in this range.

I'll install body kit, lenso rims and tyres and music system in my upcoming v2

What delivery time and total cost is involved in your purchase? Please also mention cost of any option(s), etc.

Also tell how much fuel they provide at the time of car delivery.
