Default Wagon R vs Faw V2

    Hello folks.

I want to purchase a ride that's in the 1 million rupees budget. (slight flexibility of course). I am confused as to whether I should go for a PK assembled Wagon R or a FAW V2. I have test driven the Wagon R at Sethi motors in Lahore and I liked the drive. However, someone I know disclosed to me recently that the Pakistani Wagon R gives weird problems, which also include transmission issues due to the clutching system installed in the Wagon R. Someone also complained that it gives issues in starting and Suzuki was unable to diagnose the issue. I have also heard that the air conditioner of the Wagon R is also gives trouble.

Faw V2 on the other hand caught my attention when I saw it in DHA. I would like to know that are FAW V2's running spares (oil and air filters) available in the local market as it will be a problem for me to drive all the way to Montgomery road or Faisal town to get the parts from the official dealership. Can anyone state if the Wagon R will be more economical or the V2.

Furthermore, is Guard making the oil filters and air filters for the V2 yet? Are there any other cars whose filters can be used for the v2 if the parts are short? How is the air conditioning in the V2?

P.S - Resale is not an issue.

dear No comparison between V2 and Wagon R. vagon r maximum avg is 16 without a/c, rear seats are like phatta, from seat are comfortable but not like V2. Air presure after 100 is no issue. rubbers on doors are solution..

Wagon-R recommended tyre width is 145, that is same as Mehran.

This means car is designed for smaller tyre as it is provided with less strong axles and less strong steering rack (kanghi) and Power steering motor with lesser power.

Once you put wider tyres all these things will suffer.

Dr3vil Bhai, You are Quite Experienced and Senior Pakwheeler. Kindly Comment.
I have Recently Booked V2, I Wanted Safety and Reliability on the Road above all, then Maintenance Cost on 2nd most Priority So as to maintain the Car for the same Safety and Reliability.
Resale Value, Comfort Factor, Space factor, Shape and Features, Fuel Economy, etc are the Least Important Things for me.
Do you Still Rate V2 Better than Cultus, Wagon-R and Swift?
Do you still Rate V2 better than City and XLI in terms of Safety and Reliability? (Practically Speaking not Theoretically) BTW I am going to Use V2 on Longer Routes with both GT Roads and Rough Roads.
