You are comparing the wrong car's.
One is 1000cc and other is 1300cc.
Wagon r is highly unstable on Highway because of its tiny tyres. For city drive wagon r is not bad.
Faw v2 is a good car with some safety features like abs, ebd, airbags, etc. Wagon r has nothing.
Resale point of view can't comment much that would depend on market conditions after 5 years.

Go get a test ride for both options from relevant dealerships. Owners here will pitch for their own purchased car model so better make your own opinion than following anyone here blindly.

By the way i also didn't own any of these car's. I have a chance to get a test drive of both car's. I found faw v2 more impressive but everyone has his own point of view.

I would suggest go for V2 because it has ABS and not cycle breakes as that in Wagon R / Mehran / Cultus, secondly it comes with hankook tyres I've touched 130 on mine at national highway the car was as smooth and as good as it was moving at 70 to 80, third it has Airbags which can protect you, last but not the last is Euro4 aerodynamic small n speedy a powerful machine with amazing fuel economy.

    CNG???
Really you want to use cng.
From this perspective both Wagon and V2 are not good to run on CNG.
Old engines like your cultus had is good for CNG.
FAW V2 has same engine of vitz 1999 -2005 generation.
Tiny Wagon R also not good to run on CNG.
Even if you do, you hardly get any benefit on these engines considering the damage it causes to engine.

CNG is tested on Camry, Corolla, Altima, Mercedes etc
It reduced the engine life, issue is not whether you can run the car or not.
Less Power to engine is issue.
Newer engines are more reluctant when it comes to quality fuel.
