thats sad. where did this happen. are the passengers safe?
Is there any radio/navigation code on the system? Means like if you remove the system from car and try to put it into different car, you need to enter a code to activate. Its like a theft deterrence.
Sorry for the owner
vry sad
چوری بھی کی اور گاڑی کا بھی ستیاناس کر دیا ... افسوسناک
bro it happened in Karachiit was a theft so no passengers were in car
what can i say :(,
these things are getting preety common in karachi
nothing of the sort exists here in PK.
Lucky owner, whoever s/he is. The car is still there.
This is a car without basic security features like immobilizer. Why would they use any kind of radio/navigation code when the whole car is an immobilizer-less thief magnet? :S
Its Altis. 6 speed on gear if I am not wrong. But damn that's gonna hurt the owner really alot
Some 1 told dashboard of new rolla is assembled wholly by clips Is that true?
Thats correct the whole dash cluster is tied to frame assembly with only 6 machine screw of 1/4 size and 16 snap-on clips. I saw this afternoon a white corolla at toyota central almost in same situation owner claim it happened in airport parking lot. odo reading 1850 kms only.
atleast its easy to fill the place with chrome
Fazal bhae, Is gari mei anti-theft nae hai, Radio mei kahan hoga, If know what i mean ,, Anyways its a sad sight for the owner. I hope he gets it covered under-insurance.
If they were not clips they would have been screws but even screws require only a screw driver to be opened... not keys. The person who stole this cars navigation unit did actually unbolt the four 10mm bolts that held the CPU of the unit. So screws or no screws, the unit was destined to be stolen because someone was desperately after it. What he did to the rest of the car is truly tragic. The level of his ruthlessness is scary.
