    Can anyone please explain 4x4 "FreeLander TD04 " with manual gearbox. How to engage or its all time 4x4 with down hill assistance only.

    It should be a permanent 4 wheel drive system. With HDC= hill descent control.





    Thats how most Land Rovers are now.

    Freelanders cant really do offroading! They are good for snow or mud where conditions are slippery but the ground is leveled...as they hardly have any suspention travel. They are soft roaders.





    They breakdown often and are expensive to repair; spares in Pk are only available at Sigma; organisation of highly incompetent jackasses and thieves!





    I would personally go for manual, at least I cant drive it hard with worrying about breaking the fragile autobox.

    Thank you for the help. I felt the same with Local Dealer and they are kind of expensive
