Jeepaholic and I went for a an off road trip on the Margalla Hills. Apparently this road goes all the way to Murree. The hills still reek of the forest fire. It was a beautiful drive over pine needles and mud/stone villages. Along the way there is a forest guesthouse. Here are a few photos for your viewing pleasure.
Keep it rolling buddy.

From where this track starts?
We went up from Shahdara. Last time I went halfway on Bronco but the track was narrow for the Bronco, so this time we took Pajero mini which went up like a wizard. There were very steep angles and rocks.

Sorry no pics of the steep angles as my friend khakimb was more busy in enjoying the offroading. We came down in a couple of hours halfway to Murree as we were hungry like anything and could not find anything to eat there, we had lunch back in Islamabad at 6 p.m. and then attended the Pakwheels birthday.
