Default Best AT Tyre for Jeep : Based on experiance

    Hello .

Guys , need to have your opinion on the tyre to buy for my rig ( CJ 7) .

    Size ( fixed ) : 275-70- R 16

Driving Requirements: Mostly on road ( high speed also) + ability to drive in northern areas + some good level offroading traction ( 5 % of total driving )

ABove requirements suggest an All Terain tyre .

What I ask is the brand and model that is proven to be good for the above driving duty . ( ONly friends with 4 x 4 may advise )

I'd also suggest Yokohama Geolanders (great all rounders) if you can find them, otherwise Bridgestone Deuler AT's (excellent value and also so great all rounders) and Pirelli Scorpions are also worth looking into but they are VERY expensive.

Falken A/Ts haven't let me down yet, but have not tried the Geolanders.

BFGs.....are the best if money is no object!!! Have a set on one of mine.... 5 yrs old and clocked over 50K without a flat....spare still unused.....bit pricey but worth every single dime!!!

Alternatively....Bridgestone dueller A/T......jap tyres don't come better than this.....good value for your dough!!!

My wild guess is Rs.9000. You can go to Asad Tyre Saddar RWP he is the official ditributor.
