    A few things to note here:

    1. On B engines, in my experience its never a matter of just changes rings and a good B1 overhaual is not a cheap affair and if rings are only slightly weak, I would run it as is until it smokes out completely....

    2. Hardtop: An original CJ/Wrangler hardtop is becoming quite a rare commodity. A Rawalpindi denter recently sold CJ top recently for 40K.

    3. Body Condition: In my view, in such cases everything depends on the condition of the jeep's body and and the quality of any conversions to the body.

    4. Cost of Upgrades: Its has become exorbitantly expensive these days to do any sort of work done on 4x4s... getting a Jeep from 8 (based on your scale, which is interesting can easily cost anywhere between 200-400K based on various things.

    5. Cost of Good CJ-7 Wranger convert: In the Rawalpindi market, as mentioned above a newly finished CJ7 with all Wrangler conversions have been selling for 550 - 700k depending on quality and parts...though current market is very slow

    @farhannk

    My knowledge in this particular area of your interest fails me miserably but hey...a word of caution....changing rings in a diesel motor generally does'nt get the job done....an overhaul shall follow very shortly!!!
