    Default Building Off-road Car (2wd) HELP

    Guys, i have an idea, by using chassis/frame of sukuki dabba (70s model), and making it like shown in picture, it will cost less than 100,000 as whole, and will fit to the travell needs of, touring towards, Northern Areas of pakistan, upto Khunjerab pass, atleast it would be comfortable than biks...

    Initially 2-seaters, plus luggage carrier... please comment, if you like to travell towards, NWFP, or want's to have something like shown...

    @levin,
    If you can't compromise on 'risk' and in parallel wants to travel too, what than ?
    Or just tell, what is the use of such cart in pakistan ?, if someone has already got.

    I made a buggy long time back in Karachi but it was on VW chasis and we had the engine of vw1600 and rims and tyres of suzuki jeep trust me it was really a great fun specially on beach but i think taking it on a long trip it will be very uncomfortable.
    Can you suggest me how to built a Gokart and how much it will cost me .

    Happy to see, some +veness!

    Well If you remove the chassis of Beetle, and use all other stuff, + put a 1C engine in it...
    additionally you've to weild a MS or SS steel pipe frame to make it look what we're looking for...

    OR otherwise

    We've to use Honda 125CC Engine instead, using tyres/hubs of Suzuki FX/Mehran, using rear suspensions of Honda (i.e. springs + shock absorbers) adding frame etc... i don't think as whole it will cost around not more than 60k...

    @Topgear
    If you have built one of these, then building a gocart should not be that difficult, or you just haven't built one. And Suzuki wheels on a VW chassis hmmmm, Makes me wonder!!!!!!

    shaan:
    depends how fast drag car you want and are you talking about suzuki car? if suzuki,, i would go for little wide wheel base too,, (meaning cutting and redesigning new fenders. at least to charade wheel base

    Dear you just needto change the hub and few alternations to put the suzuki jeep rim .In pakistan ppl can make any sort of alternations once i have made a blunder i put ikzte engine in BMW735I and the only advantage i had that most of the mechanics became my good freinds because that car use to spend more time in workshops rather then at home or on road ......LOL
