    @Janj
    Wonderfully done event again. Got to meet a lot of new people, Saidhi, you are not one of them

    Good to see the Range Rover, the Jimny and the Patrol admirably performing.

    The oldies like Janj, Hasan, Sunny, Moj etc etc, no need to mention. Typically good performance.

    Missed my RKR a lot.

    Moj, thanks for picking me up, and Sherwan thanks for the ride home.

    Cheers.

    I will miss her, that RKR. She will always be the one that got away.

    @ Saidhi, pls share some knowledge on rally suspension you have been using in rallies for Suzuki (which can also suit terrain we have near isloo along with what we get in cholistan), is the same available for miniz & joy? How you define the change in performance e.g. increase in articulation, ride height, pros & cons

    etc. What should be the budget and from where to get this upgraded.

    @Basharatu

    Brother you asked everything in the above few lines, answering them would require pages.

    Suggestion, kindly read the attached thread consisting of 3 pages (Vigo Suspention for Off Roading). This will give you a broad idea about what you need for rallies or off roading. In short, my opinion is that a proper suspention setup for rallies is completely different from a proper suspention setup for IJC kind of off roading i.e. mountain/rock climbing.

    Brother once you go through the above thread, give me a call at 0300-423-5051, we will discuss your requirement, budget ect and i will be better able to share my ideas.

Therefore, I would love to see this article or a fresh write-up from U “sticky” on Pakwheels on “Off-Road Vs Rally Suspension & options available here and there utility”.

    spanCalibri","sans-serif";"We cannot calculate how many rally or off-road drivers this information can produce but surely with the kind of awareness created via Pakwheels, by club like IJC, Engaged & on job training being given by them

    spanCalibri","sans-serif";"So my query is now little a shortened & focused on the suspension which can be used on Off-road on rocky terrain, the story doesn’t end here as we can’t leave the tires selection. I am referring to this upgrade for a small machine like mini or Jimny, for hardcore BeeMog is giving good service. Calling U

    A very nice event and a wondeful experience, got to meet a lot of very nice and cool people. First time with the 4x4 Engaged, all worth it.

    The prize of the event was the Hilux for me, i secretly adored the machine all the way. I was surprised to see what it can do, i'm not a fan of leaf springs but it just amazed me with its capability. I ahve reconsidered the thought.

    Rao,

    Anytime my friend, TD42 always at your service (Disclosure: Remeber to bring ear muffs for long rides, and a gas mask for dirt the next time) lol.... As for the Patrol its just a beat up girl with a donk in it....you make it sound better. Too bad you the RKR wasn't there, would love to see the beast in action.

    Janj,

    A very nice event, enjoyed it very much, i hope we can get together again sometime soon.

    Loved saidi's Jimny, i must admit the suspension is just great on that vehicle, great damping and great control for that much speed on a dirt road. A very amazing vehicle and saidi was amazing in it. RMR was the sand digger, a beautiful vehicle, when we actually left, RMR and the Patrol were ahead, we were racing down the bed, neck to neck and drifting sideways, great fun. I hope Hassan didn't take that personally. Was my bad.

    All in all a very nice experience. Hope to see more pictures and the videos and hopefully see you the guys at the next event and have some more fun. My sincere thanks for the lovely experience and the hospitality from all the guys.

    It was pleasure talking to Saidhi Bhai and you guys are lucky to have him around. I received a great piece of advice regarding controling articulation @ the rear to get ready for 30 degree side slopes . Hum to kehtay hein humain seywa ka moka dein

    DD, brother we all missed you and MOG, but of course we knew that you would be in ISL over the weekend. Hope you enjoyed day out with IJC, I saw the pics and the event looks awesome as ever.

    My 660 Jimny's performance was rasonable. Its engine is quite weak. To give an idea, i filled up the engine oil before leaving for off roading and when i checked the oil after the day out, it required almost 1.25 liters to fill up again. You can rightly say that the engine is almost done. Despite this, because of the ground clearance and light body weight, it managed to do obsticles/water fording. Had no electrical problems/engine missing.

    Sunday was a test day to decide whether to replace existing 660 engine with a similar one or to swap it with a 1.3 DOHC (G13) or 2.0 V6 (J20). Decision has been made, 660 is fine, so a new 660 engine is on the way. I also need a snorkel and an outer roll cage. As soon as Saqib is free, hopefully in a day or two, it will be done. Last but not the least, a set of 4 point seat belts, which I already have in my inventory, will be installed after the above work. Inshallh Jimny will be up to the mark.
