    @KhakiMB Sir,

    Do u think, Mini and 410 could be compared when it comes to offroading?
    @ the scale of 10, what marks would you give to Mini and 410?

    For Offroad:

    I would give the 410 a 9 out of 10. And a Mini would get 6 out of 10.

    For Comfort:

    For comfort which the author wants i would give the Mini a 7 out of 10 and the 410 about a 4.

    As mentioned in my earlier post the 410 is not comfortable but King offroad.

    Good advice from KMB. One additional note: The original shocks on SJ410s will probably be worn out, do repair/replace them with original or heavier shocks with or without coils BEFORE you remove too many leaf springs. You will probably save the small additional cost/hassle of replacing broken leafs if you install the coils before removing more kamanis.

    Changing leafsprings to coil may make it comfortable, but it will reduce its off roading capabilities significantly with more chances of a roll over on sharp turns and emergency brakes. The problem in discussion has no solid solution. The vehicle as someone else put it is meant for offroading, let it be as it is ...

    On second thoughts I have to agree with choctalpur, leave it alone, well meaning changes without the right know how can make matters worse.
    On a separate note, I believe that proper (appropriate) coils will not only improve the ride (metal AND offroad) but improve articulation and increase offroading safety with an edge over leafsprings but the expense is not worth the minor difference especially with the risk of not getting the right tension springs.
    I would be interested in the firsthand experience of anyone who has used coilovers in a SJ410/SJ413? I know there are many out there as I saw several at the Sind Desert Rally. These guys I assume used the coils for performance rather than for comfort.
