    So, while admitting that Nadir's LC is very well prepared, its not his LC that consistently wins him titles, its mainly his driving.

    @SK... i dont know about Evo but my DOHC does 65 in 1st, 120 in 2nd. will check how much it will do in 3rd someday on a motorway.

    Next time will try to look at the rpms too, actually the top speed comes on the GPS so dont need to check the meter for that. With my kind of record, it seems sensible that I keep eyes on road.track only

    Evo's red line starts at 7000 but it goes upto around 7500 before cutting off.

    Good research there amigo......and after going through all you have written on this thread (losing precious work hours).....here's my honest no **** assessment..... EVO is still the BEST.....and thats what you also are trying to say here perhaps but in not so many words.....as it is a MITSU!!!!! Its the fastest, cheapest, best handling, with envious repute and looks that could kill....what else could you ask for???.....a tidy, all in one, shot to the podium package it is......Dig deep into your heart dude.....its always been the THREE DIAMONDS!

    "Clear Words" for 4x4s in Local Rallies

    1. Fastest---- Ahsan's VTC is much faster than Evo/Nadir's LC with a top speed of 240kms on motorway, off the road in Jhal, it touched 200 in "patt" section, reason, changed Diffs with VTC's power gives better pick up than manual Evo and longer gears gives better top speed
    2. Cheapest---- Ahsan's VTC with Proflex and Bilstien shocks is cheaper, costing around 1.8 Million
    3. Handling----- Best without doubt in stock vehicles, In rallies, NO, Nadir's LC is equally good because of longer wheel base and top of the line suspension. Ahsan's VTC has the worst handling
    4. Envious Repute----- Agreed 100%
    5. Looks---- Agreed 100%, am already dead
    6. Tidy/all in one----Agreed 100%
    7. Best package for podium---- Agreed 100% and thats why I have it

    Having said that, it still is not ruling because Nadir/LC combo is winning consistently. Reason for this is not that Evo lacks but the Evo drivers do not match the skills and bravery of Nadir.

    @DesertDevil: Your 3.5 DOHC has an auto right? Assumings its the INVECS II 5 speed, based on what we found on the EVO gear ratio thread (https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/4x4...-2#post2773176) :

    Compared to the manual EVO, the auto INVECS II has a longer second gear (2.057) and with its 4.636 (11:51) diffs should just cross 120kmph @ 7500rpms. Third is a bit shorter but should still get you beyond 160kmph....

    The Manual EVO does run a shorter 4.875 (8:39) diff it seems albeit with slightly different gear ratios shown on the above linked thread....

    @SK... yap its auto, but its on 6200 RPM when its doing 122. Redline is 6500.

    @ Saidhi...... very nice tyres and rims bro... Evo looks wicked
