    Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

    is your high pressure commonrail pump dead? or the tank transfer pump, its usually due to clogged injectors - workshops having the mitsubishi dia-tool can forceclean the injectors - theres a command in it.. just like the mb cdi test

    @Xulfiqar
    I was waiting for your reply. I went to D.S Motors opposite to Khan Motors. My car turns off all of a sudden while driving on low fuel only. So the mechanic said its pump is week. What should I do ?

    did they actually check the fuel flow and transfer pump pressure? or just threw a ball?? get them to check any error codes and run a logger on the OBD2 port..

    I don't think it was common rail back in 2000. That said, a diagnostic check should be able to say whether any other system is malfunctioning. If the pump is based on any of the BOSCH units, pump condition might be difficult to diagnose directly from the diagnostic.
