    Default Jeep History

I know there are many Jeep Lovers on this site who often love to have some info about Jeeps. Here is the good news for them. I am just going to put here the history of the Jeeps since its first Pilot Model “ Bantam 1940”.

    I will be posting 1 by 1.

    1940 Bantam Pilot Model:

    Jeep History -469542

Using the term that has become generic in the English language, this is the undisputed first "jeep." Built by the American Bantam Car Company of Butler, Pennsylvania, it was delivered to Camp Holabird, Maryland, on September 23, 1940.

Rocky is a better option but U will hardly find 1. Then option comes for Pajero sure Pajero is better choice rather going for Vitara. Parts & resale is also not a big issue for Pajero.

No the Pajero is not available in Petrol in Pakistan and you will hardly find any Vitara on Petrol almost all are converted to 2C Diesel.

Rocky Daihatsu,,,no doubt a very good offroader,,,i kept it nearly for 5 years ,,,,it was an auctioned one,,,firstly in name of DC Lahore,,the biggest flaw in my case that i never noticed the repair work on pillars,,it was a toppled one which i came to know afterwards,,anyhow i took it to quetta and there my mechanic alter it alltogether with a 2L-T Turbo D engine and a three door land cruiser gear box,,he changed the whole body with some newer model of it and its colour was grey mettalic then ,,,,he opted for this option as colour was never mentioned in the original book then its front grill was same as of 1989 model which arid posted....after all this alteration it was a great experience to drive,,,,if you really want a true offroader aly then in my opinion Rocky is the best,,,Even Daihatsu Feroza is stunning looking ,,,right away iam not sure of it but it comes in petrol but afterwards people usually do convert it to diesel....again very few are there....iam having plans in future to buy feroza and make some alterationz in it....the one feroza which i saw the other day in lahore was heart throbbing having a colour combination of maroon and silver mettalic.

I know the one you are talking about buddy....its in amazing condition and i think its still on its original petrol engine as i never saw any black smoke coming out of the exhaust.
There is this another one in blue and silver which is just as good.
